  • Beautiful secluded setting on the Rainbow River. Includes guest house with bed and bathroom. Recently renovated with new kitchen and bath, and an adjacent guest house with its own recently renovated bathroom. And a loft with two twin beds for the kids. Wraparound deck, two docks, and 150 feet of waterfront. The main dock is shaded all summer with gently wide stairs to the swim area. The second dock is set up for you to bring your own boat and tie up to the cleats there. Paddle boards, float tubes, and kayaks to enjoy the crystal clear river. There's even a crystal clear spring (now dubbed Otter Spring) 25 yards from the main dock. Especially wide part of the river creates a more relaxing setting, with daily visits by the local otters. Riverside fire pit is the perfect set up for cool evenings. Add the proximity to places like the World Equestrian Center (WEC), Crystal River, Homossassa, and the Withlacoochee River, University of Florida, mountain and paved biking trails. This can be both a relaxing place to stay and the center for many activities.

Amazing property for 4-6 people. The backyard and deck over the river was perfect and well shaded. Lots of great river toys like tubes, SUP boards and canoes to choose from. Great spot on the river close to many great spots. The house and guest home were very clean and well appointed. Everything from the A/C, grill, TVs and kitchen equipment were in great shape. If you want a fun and relaxing atmosphere, this place is the best! We will certainly visit again.

This family of four plus our fur babe had an amazing time on the Rainbow River! We were out on the river everyday spotting new wildlife and enjoying the beautifully clear water.Amenities were fantastic at the house, location was gold, and communication was very friendly!It was the perfect low-key spring break spot!We hope to return next year!

We had an excellent time. Owners were so helpful and friendly. We stayed 6 weeks and it was a small paradise. House had everything you could need. I’ve stayed at a lot of places and this was the cleanest vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. We were super happy with it.

Our stay at this beautiful house on Rainbow River was fantastic! The house was immaculate and the host, Reese, was friendly, communicative and very helpful, if we needed anything. We were impressed with the fact that there was everything one needed in the kitchen - from kitchen supplies and utensils to even spices, oils and coffee! The beds were comfortable, too! Most importantly, we loved the great view of the river from the living room and wonderful dock, where we spent most of our time either enjoying nature as we sat with our coffee, or swam, or kayaked. The dock also made it quite easy to step right down into the river for a swim, take off with kayaks or paddle boards - all of which were provided. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay there, and definitely plan to come back!

This property is amazing and we plan to go back. It was beautiful river front with non stop views. We had a deer walk on property, birds, fish, lizards, otters, etc. They have all the toys you need and then some. Master bed was comfortable. Our 6' tall 15 year old ended up sleeping in the loft and was very comfortable as well.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot recommend this property highly enough!From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The property was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the things we appreciated most was how dog-friendly it was. Reese, he was an exceptional host. He was responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience throughout our stay.We spent every day out on the water paddleboarding, which was one of the highlights of our trip. The location made it easy to enjoy the outdoors, and we loved coming back each evening to such a clean and comfortable place.If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic host, beautiful surroundings, and a property that truly feels like a home away from home, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wow, what a gem on the Rainbow River! We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every second. The wildlife watching was amazing - herons, anhingas, pileated woodpeckers, otters, turtles, and more. We paddle boarded and kayaked, we cooked in the kitchen, roasted s'mores around the fire pit, visited the state park for some light hiking, fished off the dock, and when we were inside we were busy staring OUTside through the picture windows. I could go on and on. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved our stay at this property! The lot is nice and private, with beautiful woods on one side and a serene river view across the way. There were plenty of kayaks and paddle boards available for us to use, and easy access to the river made getting out on the water simple and fun. We saw tons of wildlife during our stay — just be careful driving, as there are lots of deer in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We truly enjoyed our time here and hope to stay again!

Perfect in every way

The home and the location are gorgeous. The house was exceptionally clean, kitchen well stocked, beds super comfy. Numerous paddle boards and tubes for enjoying the gorgeous Rainbow River. Quiet area, very friendly neighbors. The host is awesome as well. One of our best rental stays ever!

If you didn't bring it with you, they had everything you could possibly need ! Beautiful setting and very comfortable house. We all had a great time including the pups !

BEST visit to the river yet!

Can’t say enough about this incredible property! We didn’t leave the house for 3 days, such a relaxing trip. Loved the guest house for our teenage son, his favorite part. Sad to leave but can’t wait to re-book! Thank you for a great experience!

Amazing place to stay

This is our second time traveling to Rainbow River, we stayed in the same area on the river but this house was PERFECT! Great size with a large cooking area (well equipped) we cooked all meals at the house. The rooms are nice and big, including the guest house which has its own kutchen area and bathroom as well. Very quiet and perfect location on the river! We'll definitely be back!

Family fun

We had a great week just relaxing and enjoying family time. The house has everything you need and so much more. The area is so quiet and peaceful we love every minute from sitting on the dock fishing, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Reese and Pat are great host. We hope to come back soon. .

Riverside Bliss

What a fantastic location with an amazing view of nothing but nature. Tons of turtles, fish, birds and river otters passing by. Lots of toys on site for river fun. Town needs better restaurants, the only negative.

Peaceful & Pristine

This was the perfect get away for us. We loved the beautiful house with all the floor to ceiling windows- so you could always enjoy the views. The river was so beautiful, we kayaked and paddle boarded, and my husband swam to the spring. The water temperature cooled the air, so sitting on the deck every night was so relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful & Serene

Great location on the Rainbow River. House is well appointed with comfortable beds, appliances, and of course, water toys-mostly SUP's. Beautiful decks with chairs and a table to eat outside. Pleasant, quiet surroundings. Cycling path is a close easy drive. Stores are readily available. Fun times!

One of a kind!

I have been to Rainbow River many times, but when I drove up to this property, it took my breath away. The views are stunning! The home is lovely and has everything you could possibly need and more…two docks and a large deck, paddle boards, floats, a fully-stocked kitchen, the most friendly and accommodating owners, spectacular views from every window. I could go on and on. This place is truly something special! We can’t wait to come back.

Rainbow Paradisels

Such a beautiful place with privacy. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach Essentials provided and more - pleasantly surprised! Beds are comfortable and linens very nice quality. Nature / birds galore. Clean and well kept. Fishing for young children off dock. We caught many with wiggler worms. No condiments needed Nice relaxing stay. Checked off my bucket list We called an uber to pick us up after rafting down river on tubes provided by host. Loved our stay

Right on the rainbow river

This house has fabulous rainbow river frontage. And almost all sides of the property looks out onto nature, and there are no other houses nearby except one. Also, the home has a great deal of amenities and well stocked. It is also in a nice location where it’s not too close to KP hole with all the river traffic and the town of Dunnellon. In other words, close enough to get there but far enough to be very relaxing. After we stayed a week, we booked the house right away for the next year. They are also wonderful hosts.

Perfect River Getaway!

We booked this for 2 adults and 4 teenagers and it was perfect. The girls stayed in the loft and the boys in the separate suite behind the main house. Reese met us there in person and was extremely accommodating and helpful. We loved the property which has easy access to KP Hole Park. You can also float or paddle down river to Swampy’s Restaurant. The property had plenty of paddle boards for everyone. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back again!
