"Lovely folk, good price, huge room"

"The exterior of the Inn could benefit from some improvements. First impressions matter, and on arrival we were concerned it might be a little run down. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case — our room was pleasant, comfortable, and spacious enough for a one‑night stay. The only downside was that the coffee and tea facilities were very limited, with just two sachets and a few milk capsules, and as the Inn closes early there was no staff around in the evening to ask for more. "The hotel was super as usual. The menu in the restaurant however was limited. I would have liked to see a cold option in this heat wave. I did have to phone down to reception at 01:30 due to a party going on in a room next door. It was however dealt with swiftly and this was outwith the hotels control. Room was clean, good selection of tea's in the room with nice biscuits and hot chocolate too. Staff were professional and helpful."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Stsff were helpful and stired ohr luggage forvus because we arrived early. It included a small continental breakfast because the hotel is under construction. Super close to bus and train station with a glass walkway over rails . Close to all amenities under 10 min walk."

"It is convenient to park your car at this inn. Highland Gate is not the inn but the the restaurant. The Highland Gate restaurant and Marton's Inn are in two separate buildings. The inn's outside apearance and inside conditions are quite mediocre: carpet in the hallway looks dirty at every entrance to the room; there is no rack or shelve for suitcases though the room size is decent; the bathroom has a peculiar smell (not stinky but unpleasant to me), and the double bed (made of two single beds)...

"Wonderful location. Made everything so easy. Our only complaint is that parking was additional cost. This didn't seem to be the case everywhere, and there was plenty of parking to be had. Honestly, I'd rather have the parking cost built into the cost of the room than feeling like I'm being nickel and dimed by having to pay extra for parking. But everything else was fantastic."

"Loved staying at the Meadowpark! The location was wonderful - close to a sweet town that you could walk to, close to Stirling where you can visit the sites and easy access to Edinburgh area. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Great vibe!"
