Bring your pets and enjoy this cozy, 728 sq ft. home conveniently located along route 11/15.

Designed with you in mind, we`ve brought in furnishings to ensure comfort and functionality. Spend the weekend while you explore the Appalachian trail, Susquehanna River, Hershey Park, Harrisburg City, and more. Enjoy the Drip coffee maker with coffee provided.

The historic and currently operational Pennsylvania Railroad runs behind the property- people come from all over to visit this landmark. While it is an impressive sight, be aware there will be railroad noise.

The 90ft driveway ensures lots of parking and gives you a little bit of distance from route 11/15. Use the backyard for fires in the fire pit, a place for your pet to roam in the fenced area, or time to unwind.

Longer stays welcome.

Property rules:

- Please do not bring unauthorized pets. $100 Pet fee applies per pet.

- Please specify accurate guest count and notify us if that number changes.

- All day time visitors must be registered and included in the guest count

- Respect noise ordinances. Quiet hours between 10 PM and 7AM

- No Smoking.

- No Fireworks

- The property has outdoor surveillance for guest safety and property maintenance.

-Please remember to thoroughly check all your belongings before leaving. If you forget something and want it shipped back to you, we can do that for $35.

Book your stay today!

You are welcome to use the garage although there is no garage door opener. The door works manually.

We live a few miles away but you can reach us via the Airbnb messaging app anytime.

Use the sheetz number 238 along State Route 11 for a GPS reference. Lots of good camping and hiking in this area. Other nearby attractions include diners and convenient stores. The River is a great place to take your boat and do some fishing!
-Small Breed Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $100 per pet per stay. Please contact us if you intend to bring a pet.

-Quiet hours for the property are between 10 PM and 7:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

this is a super cute little house, just right for our weekend. The host was amazingly responsive, super quick to answer questions! the fenced dog yard was just the right size. I used a bungee cord on the back gate to keep it from popping open because my nosey dog knew that door was not locked!

Once We Found This, We Came Back

This is a cute property on Rtes. 11-15 near Duncannon, PA. We first came here as a place to recuperate from an operation which worked out quite well. We liked it so much, we came back two more times. Our daughter from Philadelphia joined us on all visits. We will be back.

This is not a pleasant place to stay.

The owner should alert potential clients about the road noise from the busy road in the front of the house. I read the reviews to late to cancel and would not have rented if i knew how disturbing the car noise was. Plus i had to buy sented candles and air fresher just to stay there. Its obvious as soon as you walk inthat this is a very old and not well taken care of property. I use to have a rental property and i would be embarrassed to have guest stay here.

Cozy Well Kept cottage

This place is small and cozy. The renovations were nice. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The house is on a very busy road with lots of traffic when people are going to and from work/school. Traffic noise is a bit much at first, but it slows down after 1:00-12:00 at night. Also, a train track runs behind the house, but the train doesn't run late at night. We had a good stay there and would recommend it. We had everything we needed.

Perfect for what we needed!

The place had everything we needed. Accommodations were comfortable and clean and located close to the places we were going! David was a great host and if we ever end up back in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to use this place.

Adorable bungalow in a great location!

Great property includes all you need.

Great property and included all the kitchen, bath, & laundry essentials we needed. Whatever we did not have could be found just up the road a short distance at the store. Close to the city but far enough away that you did not feel crowded. The house was clean, cozy, & bed was super comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch each night and watching the traffic go by on the busy highway. Everything was as advertised. Would stay again if in the area.

Wedding weekend at Whitetail Lodge

We attended a wedding weekend at Whitetail Lodge. The house was only 10 min from the venue and was perfect! Had everything we needed and was neat, clean and updated. There is a train that runs out back but wasn't a big bother for us. House was great!

Charming and clean!

I enjoyed my stay at this property from A to Z. Everything was as described on the website. The host was extremely accommodating and directions were simple and clear. The pet inclusion was convenient and the fenced yard made me feel safe. I have a yearly commitment in this area and will definitely rent here again.
