A perfect stay! Make sure when you arrive you go to Buža gate since it’s MUCH closer and has less stairs/walking than the other gate. Perfect little spot in Old Town near all the main spots. I had a blast here, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

107 steps to door! But if you want to stay in Old Town Dubrovnik, you will have to contend with steps. Room was small, but clean! Pack a washcloth. First shower in Europe with a complete shower door like in US. It was a fair price,

Darija was absolutely amazing. From a very late booking, to getting lost and being slightly stressed when i arrived, Darija was so kind and wonderfully welcoming. Everything was amazingly immaculate with so many thoughtful touches and in such a wondeful location. Highly recomend and would happily stay again.

Excellent location for sightseeing! Be prepared for lots of stair climbing to access the room. This would not be the room for someone with mobility issues. Ask upon check in for someone to take your luggage to the room. Room was clean and tastefully decorated and amenities were good. But, the fridge did not work properly. We didn't expect extreme cold, but the beverages were basically room temperature and the cherries we bought the night before did not fair well. They checked out the fridge for us and said it was fine, but there was no difference. Overall, it was a lovely stay, close to the major attractions, and a short walk to access the shuttle to the airport.

The La Vita Bella group excels at making your stay feel special. Even though our room was small, they went above and beyond to provide the extras (robe, slippers, fruit, coffee/tea). The space was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring (and walking up 100+ steps from the main avenue). The staff were extremely polite and friendly and very helpful. It was great to have a space to store luggage with them. Would highly recommend as a place to stay in Old Town.

Excellent location within the walls of Old Town. Be prepared for a great workout when climbing those steps. Many great restaurants just steps from the property.

Pros: Located in the old town close to all restaurants and shops. Cons: you need to climb up 109 steps to get to the room, these are stone, uneven and tall steps, not an easy climb. The room felt crowded with unnecessary decor and felt dirty, with only a tiny window so it felt like a dungeon. I found an old soap hiding by the sink, the kettle was absolutely filthy with gunk at the bottom of it. Cleaning is only every three days by request. Our room wasn’t cleaned when requested it, they just made the bed, didn’t change the sheets, didn’t give us clean cups or glasses, they just gave us new towels. NO HOT WATER , I had to shower with freezing cold water. Only one time the water came out warm for a minute. The staff had mentioned that they have to shut off the hot water several times a day. The mini fridge is not cold, so don’t buy any thing that needs refrigeration. We could hear everything from upstairs people, they played loud music and the stomping was out of control specially around 2am every night. The room was super small, no space for luggage. There’s no counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletries or any hooks to hang any towels like a hand towel. There was a couple of hooks where the toilet is but none in the shower area. The shower it’s half way covered so everything and I mean everything! Will get wet when you shower. There was an espresso machine which didn’t work. Overall it wasn’t a very good experience. I would not stay here again.

It was great, there were 2 things that could be improved, my side of the bed was not good and then the room has a sensor light which turned in 3 times in one of the nights. But really the room is in great in great conditions and beautiful. Be ready to get up all stairs

This property went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They had all of the travel sized personal items such and shampoo and conditioner but also had a number of other items like shave kits, toothbrushes, etc. They had robes, slippers, flip flops, and a Panama Jack hat with their logo on it. Just know there are a lot of stairs outside the property when coming from the main shopping/dining area. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to anyone staying in the Old Town.

Pros: great location-literally 50 stair steps from the main restaurants and Old Town, very clean, nicely appointed. The fact that you can use a shower at the main offices later in the afternoon after check out was such a blessing since we went to the beach! Really appreciate that feature. Cons: Lots of stairs to climb to get there. Although they will send someone to help carry your baggage, there are many stairs to climb to get back to the room from Old Town, so those with physical limitations should be aware. There was only a sheet on the bed to cover with, no blankets. It would have been nice to have a blanket if needed for warmth.

120 steps

The accommodation is between the main street and inland towards the walls. It is all up hill at this part of the old town. 120 steps may not sound a lot but in the baking heat, carrying luggage and the uneven steps it is a lot. The room itself has been well done out, and very instagramable, but not practical. All the trimmings you would expect in a 5 star suite crammed into a shoe box. 1 bedside table had a kettle, coffee machine and 4 remotes. The other bedside table came half way over the sink. The window ledges crammed with plant, tea, coffee, glasses and the other ledge, plants, flowers and a large bowl. The extra pillows, lovely decorative cushions, 3 hats, slippers, flip flops, spare loo role, hairdryer and spare towels just had to lie on the floor or stuffed under the sink. Yes they want the place to look lovely and provide everything you could need, but just not practical in such a small space. There is just enough room on the floor to open a large case to get out what you need then close it again. There are no drawers at all to even unpack a few things. TV, wifi, were a hit or a miss. Air con was great. As for the safe, a small box ‘glued’ to the bottom of the bedside table. Would I stay again–prob not. Steps major problem. It’s the old town, rooms are what they are just not designed great
