Facing the sea priceless views can be enjoyed from all the rooms and make waking up here a truly wonderful start to a day. Outdoor stone deck leads to a pool, and is equipped with an alfresco dining area with BBQ facilities, as well as a direct access to the sea. Welcome to the Adriatic.
    In two bedrooms four guests are comfortably accommodated, with an option of one more on the sofa bed.
    The surrounding area allows for endless exploring of Croatian natural wonders. National Park Mljet is on the island reachable by ferry. And the infamous Dubrovnik is 40 kilometers southeast and most definitely worth a visit.Formed in seventh century and since scarred by many of its rulers today Dubrovnik displays a rich cultural history and historical significance. Protected by UNESCOpedestrian onlycharming Old Town is enveloped in 10thcentury city walls, 2 kilometers in length, in some parts 6 meters tall. It is a must stroll! Stradun, or Dubrovnik’s placa, is a picturesque street lined with cafés and restaurants, aperfect viewpoint to admire the architecture and watch the world go by while enjoying fresh catch of the day and sipping on a glass of Malvazija. Welcome to Dalmatia!
    For transparency: please account for 300 euro security deposit to be paid upon arrival directly to the host and returned upon departure, subject to inspection. Pool heating is available for 18 euro per night. Pets are welcome upon request with an additional 10 euro per night pet fee. The rental of 1 kayak and 2 stand-up paddleboards is 100 euros per week, with unlimited use included. Please no groups of under 25 years of age.

Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft entspricht der Realität. Lage direkt am Meer mit eigenem Meerzugang fantastisch, Ruhiges Tal, hatten auch den daneben liegenden Strand fast immer für uns alleine. Beheizter Pool unschlagbar, auch die Möglichkeit Kajak und Board zu nutzen.

Stunning property

We had an amazing week at Amara Cottage. It was the most perfect, beautiful place - our own private piece of Croatian heaven. The cottage is small but perfectly formed. We loved waking up every morning to the sound of the sea lapping at the rocks. It is truly a unique and special place and one of our best holidays ever.

This was our second visit to Amara Cottage and just as lovely as the first. The cove is peaceful and extremely beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. Ante is a great host, nothing is to much trouble and he cares about you having a good holiday, whatever that may look like. The interior is very clean and it's stocked with everything you need for your stay. If you love being in and around water and enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and swimming then this is the place for you. It's also a great base to visit Dubrovnik and other historic sites in the area. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Fabulous location

The villa looked just as it did in the brochure. Beautiful location and extremely private. Facilities were very good, even had use of kayaks and paddle boards. Very relaxing and great fun. The host was lovely and even came before we left to say goodbye. Would definitely stay here again.

Special place!

Alles sehr abgewohnt kaputte Kissen im Bad Schimmel In den Fugen. Übler Geruch aus der Klimaanlage nach Urin. Und leider außerhalb des Hauses viel Müll. Die Schnellstraße führt genau daran vorbei, auch wenn ein paar Höhenmeter dazwischen liegen hört Mann die Autos Busse und LKWs. Ich würde es nicht mehr buchen viel zu teuer für das was es ist. Und an den Strand direkt vor der Tür darf der Hund auch nicht mit.

Amara Cottage

We just spent an amazing week at Amara Cottage. The location is amazing and the owner Ante is very responsive. It is small but very aesthetically built and well equipped. The portion of the Adriatic Sea that this home sits on is even more clear than in the pictures and the stars at night are breathtaking.

A beautiful hideaway paradise

What a beautiful country, area, villa, location and owner. The area was just breathtakingly beautiful and Ante was there to make the whole holiday as relaxing and pleasant as possible. Ready to help and assist at a phone calls notice. The house was cozy but had everything you could need. The only thing that made our holiday a little negative was the weather - apparently the coldest week in May since records began. But try as he might he was not able toads that any better but the holiday was amazing even if the weather was rubbish. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great house and great location with a super helpful owner. 5 stars. Thank you so much
