 Cabaña de 2 pisos, construida en 2014, con capacidad para 13 personas, (alojamiento recientemente ampliado en el nivel inferior) camas tamaño queen en los 4 dormitorios (cunas disponibles), sofás cama en el estudio y sala de la taberna en el nivel inferior, lavadero, comedor grande en la cocina, cómoda habitación grande con wifi, TV grande en el primer y bajo nivel, centro de entretenimiento, con vista a la ventana con vista al pintoresco Fishing Creek. Precioso porche con terraza trasera envolvente y porche contiguo cerca del comedor. Pozo de fuego con vistas al arroyo. Muchos senderos están cerca para practicar senderismo, ciclismo, explorar y montar a caballo. Un granero y un paddock se encuentran a unos cientos de pies de la cabaña, si los huéspedes desean traer sus caballos. El granero tiene 3 puestos y mucho espacio para la participación.

Loved everything about it. There was a little confusion about the code to get access, and at one point it seemed our reservation had somehow been canceled, but we were able to straighten those things out quickly. The spaces worked perfectly for our family with the adults having private rooms, and then a space for the four boys and another space for the four girls. The eight grandchildren, ages 6 to 12, found lots to do. The 4 boys were mostly outside in the beautiful weather. The four girls were in and out and talked Grandma one mom into doing a creek walk which was great fun. The adults enjoyed chats around the fireplace and games around the large dining room table. We were only 35 minutes away from Sight and Sound theater, which everybody loved and which is what brought us to the area. We enjoyed hiking at the Susquehanna State Park, which is just a few miles away and we found the Central Market in the heart of Lancaster to be an intriguing change of pace. Grandma loved sitting out on the deck in the quiet of the early morning with her coffee and her Bible, listening to the babbling creek and the birds and the sound of acorns hitting the ground. There was so much more we would’ve like to do but we will have to save it for another trip.

The cabin had everything we needed. We had a family reunion and we had so much space for everyone. We enjoyed hanging out and visiting on the deck. I loved the sound of the babbling creek.pictures did not do it justice. It's very warm and inviting

Beautiful home surrounded by nature. Spacious with perfect accommodations for adults traveling with small children. We stayed the weekend of my daughter’s wedding at the Drumore Estate and it was fifteen minutes from the venue. There are some winding roads to get to the location but the beautiful scenery is worth the drive. I highly recommend for a family vacation in the Lancaster area!

Peaceful location and spacious comfortable home

We had a lovely stay at Creekside Cottage. Kitchen is large, modern and well appointed. The bedrooms were comfortable and all the bedding was soft and clean. The home was spotless and the screened in porch enabled us to play cards late into the night without a bug bite. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and birdwatching nearby at Susquhannock Park. The kids went tubing and we all enjoyed antiquing. The lication is close to Lancaster as well as Port Deposit and Havre de Grace Maryland so we were able to day trip easily. Laura and Karen are great hosts, very responsive. We will definitely be coming back!

A wonderful, secluded cabin in the woods with a babbling creek and tree frogs to keep you company. Our family found it very comfortable here and the surrounding rural area was tranquil. Our hosts had provided everything we needed.

Family Vacation

This home was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Very comfortable and spacious. The only issue was that there was no cell phone service and the internet was not reliable. Other than that I would highly recommend this property.

Simply the best!

Second times a charm

This was our second time staying at Creekside Cottage. It's cozy and well-stocked, with plenty of space for our 3 families coming together to celebrate New Years Eve. We like the quiet location. It doesn't feel like a generic rental, it feels like a home. We played lots of board games and roasted smores in the firepit. I would recommend to families who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the creek and the horseback riders passing through.

Winter wonderland

This was our 2nd trip to Creekside Cottage, both times in January, both times with my extended family. We continue to appreciate the 1st floor master bedroom for our older parents (no stairs); the basement rec room for the kids; the well-appointed kitchen; and the marvelous view from the living room. Lots of snow on this trip, which the whole family enjoyed playing in and looking at from the warm interior. Great communication and support from the hosts. We'd definitely book again! Thank you for providing this great space for making memories!

One of the best rental we’ve ever had

The spot is calm and very clean. A lot of room and space inside and outside. Close enough to Lancaster city so it’s east to go and far enough so you can live some wilderness experience. We all loved it.

Cabin in the Woods

During Thanksgiving, we walked into a warm house and was greeted with a very well decorated home. Spacious and scenic and remote. My parents are in their 70s so the master bedroom was well placed on the main level. No steps involved. So much stuff to look at in the home. Nice big dining room table for thanksgiving dinner and nice living room for game night. I liked the handwritten notes in the welcome book and the family photos was a nice touch. Nice mix of modern and traditional 30 minute drive to Franklin and Marshall College , my alma mata and spaghetti pizza! 35 minute drive to Sight n Sound and Shady Maple wasn’t too far away. We enjoyed our stay.
