6BR Rustic Retreat Teton Views

Rustic Retreat in the Heart of the Tetons! Enjoy watching the alpenglow of the Tetons from the hot tub or great room windows! Located in the coveted North side of Driggs, ID, it goes without saying the property offers incredible views of the Grand Tetons as well as Grand Targhee Resort.

As you enter the home, you are swept away by the log accents and floor to ceiling views of the Teton range. An open floor plan allows for entertaining and yet there are many spaces for privacy and reflection. This gorgeous house offers 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and an apartment above the garage offers an additional 1 bedroom and a 3/4 bath. The apartment may be accessed from the house, or locked off and accessed from the one car garage. As an added safety feature, this home has carbon monoxide detectors.

The main floor has a master bedroom with ensuite bath and Queen sized bed. There is also an office suited next to the bunk bed room for the kids. The main floor also offers a family room with outstanding Teton Views, a large fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and bar seating, as well as a large dining room table.

In the basement, there is an additional large living room, 2 bedrooms, one with Queen bed, one with one set of twin bunk beds and a full shared bathroom.

Upstairs you will find 2 additional bedrooms, each with Queen beds and another shared full bathroom. There is an apartment accessible from the house above the garage that also offers a Queen bed, 3/4 bathroom, and kitchenette.

This house offers plenty of space to entertain your entire family. The home is equipped with high speed fiber optic wireless internet for those who need to work during their stay. Enjoy the majestic Teton Mountain Range from the hot tub outside after a day exploring all that the area has to offer. Enjoy hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Or, have a relaxing day fly fishing or enjoying the expansive views of Teton Valley, ID from a hot air balloon ride. From skiing some of the best powder in the Rocky Mountain Range, to exploring the Greater Yellowstone area, the Valley is guaranteed to keep your family engrossed for your entire vacation.

We will refund in full for any cancellations prior to 14 days before check in. If you cancel with 7 days of your check in date, we will charge $100 and refund 50%.

Additional insurance fee for stays over 29 nights will apply.
Teton Valley Property Management Rental Agreement is required to be signed upon booking this property.

We recently stayed here to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect home base for our family of 12 while visiting Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook big family breakfasts. The dining area had more than enough seating for us all to gather together and share meals. Best of all, the view of the Grand Teton mountains was every bit as stunning as advertised—no Photoshop required! This property truly made our celebration memorable, and we would gladly stay here again.

Family Vacation

We chose this property because it could accommodate the whole family - 10 adults, 4 teenagers and a 7 year old. All adult couples had their own room with 1 king bedroom with its own bathroom and queen size beds in the other rooms. Bunks in the rooms that the teens and 7 year old shared. Bathrooms weren’t an issue as there were 3 plus a powder room. Also there was 2 kitchens which helped in meal preparation. The living and dining area were good sizes and there was plenty of room for all to be doing whatever they wanted whether they wanted to play games as a group or sit and read or just stare out the back windows at the beautiful views of the Tetons. The property also had a spa in the backyard which was utilized by almost everyone. Our son brought his smoker so we did not use the BBQ that was there. The main kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, silver ware and plenty of baking sheets and dishes. There was a Keurig, a coffee pot and a hot water pot. It also had a large pantry that was pretty full when we first got there and we had to move a lot of stuff around in order to utilize it to put our groceries in. With 15 of us, we had a lot. Some of the down sides……… The light fixtures on the walls and hanging were dirty with dead bugs in them. The pictures of the property showed patio furniture but it was stacked in the garage with a lot of stuff (not ours) around it. Also the instructions in the binder stated not to move any furniture.

Perfect for us

It’s not a super luxurious house but it’s big and nice and did great for our 14 person family ski trip. Everyone liked it. Beds were nice. We enjoyed ping pong. Only negative was the size of the hot tub was way too small. If your going to rent a big house like this need more than a 6 person hot tub!

Excellent Place for Targhee Skiing

We had a terrific time staying at this location. It easily accommodated our large group and was very close to the road leading up to the ski hill. It had an amazing view of the Tetons. The management company was easy to work with, and got us our access codes in a timely fashion. It helped us have a wonderful extended ski weekend.

Small Family Reunion

We had a great stay at this property. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out and also nice space to cook together and eat together. The kitchen really had everything we could possibly need--I appreciated it so much. We had 13 adults in our family meeting up from 5 states and we had an amazing time. Beautiful views out the windows and just a lovely home. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and sitting outside with coffee watching the sunrise in the mornings.

Roomy with a View

Plenty of space for our family of 10 adults and 1 child. Several spaces to gather and visit. Didn't feel crammed in when the day was rainy. The living room and outdoor patio had a perfect view of the Tetons. It was nice that the family room with the TV that had the cords needed to connect our devices was in the basement away from where the adults wanted to visit. The ping pong table was well used. The option to use the apartment was greatly appreciated and gave us a 7th bedroom, an extra refridgerator in the apartment kitchen. We hosted a dinner for 20 and we had plenty of space. If you plan to cook your meals, this place has all the equipment! Best kitchen in a vacation rental. A few minor drawbacks such as the ice make doesn't dispense. It still makes ice! The pantry had many of the staples. Plenty of plates and silverware for our group. Linens in good shape. Beds were good as well. Tthe management company was advised of several minor items that needed attention such as light bulbs needing replaced, a shower head and a faucet needing attention. The management company was excellent in responding to concerns about a bad review that had been left for this property on another vacation rental site. Issues the reviewer mentioned were checked on and reported to me by phone before I arrived. If I needed a place this large again, I would seriously consider it. Great for a group.

Excellent Location

Great location and management. We were there for a photo shoot in the Tetons on a professional work trip. We got the sense that the neighbors don’t enjoy having a VRBO in the neighborhood. They threatened to call the cops for “a bunch of vehicles driving at high rate of speeds up and down the road.” We were simply going to dinner after a long day of scouting. The property managers called and gave us a friendly heads up. Long story short - 10/10 but mind your ps and qs around the neighbors.

Stunning Teton Retreat

What an amazing place to stay! We had a large group stay at The Retreat for a few days. It's just a short drive to the base of Targhee. Wifi was fast. The house is gorgeous with amazing views of the Tetons. Well-stocked kitchen has everything you need. I hope to have the opportunity to stay in this amazing place again!

Epic Fam trip

The house was beautiful and had plenty room for everyone! From our granddaughters to adult children we enjoyed the hot tub, grilling dinner, playing cornhole and ping pong! Great location and we visited Caribou Targhee Forest ( where my daughter got engaged in front of Upper Mesa Falls- amazing waterfall !) Grand Tetons , Yellowstone and Jackson! From start to finish our trip was amazing and the house was the perfect setting ! Don’t hesitate , it’s just like the pics and so much more !!

Amazing Views and Comfortable Housing

We really enjoyed our stay and found everything as described. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and used the grill several nights. No complaints whatsoever. We were a group of adult siblings with spouses and all the rooms had comfortable beds and good access to bathrooms. Would love to stay again if we make it back to this area! Perfect Views

Great views of the Tetons!! There was enough room for everyone to have their privacy when need be and come together for meals and enjoy each other’s company as well. We visited in October and still found plenty to do in the area, which included restaurants, shopping, hiking, scenic drives, 4wheel trails, hot tubbing, and much more!

Stunning Teton View

We enjoyed our stay. House was roomy enough for all 12 of us. Location was perfect. The town of Driggs was a nice/neat little town. Quiet neighborhood. Kids and young adults loved the hot tub. Used the grill once and it worked fine. Had a little issue with the A/C not working so it got a little warm in the house during the day. Lindsy brought us new box fans and that helped. Repair man showed up and fixed the problem a few days later. Outside flower beds and yard needed some TLC.
