  • Private, spacious log home on 5 acres of Claytor Lake waterfront. Off I81, only 35 min from Blacksburg and VT. Large floor plan with two dining areas and lots of room to relax and entertain, both inside and out. Private NEW dock with kayaks and room for yard games. BBQ and enjoy the quiet by the fire pit or look for resident bald eagles and otters. The warmth of the wood and quiet surrounding will make you sleep soundly. Please note the water is shallow around the dock and great for kids and pets. Large gatherings are not permitted, maximum occupancy is 10 and booking guest must be main contact on site.

VT Tour & Spring Break

We had a great stay at this property in Draper during our family spring break trip, which also included a tour of Virginia Tech. The location was perfect—less than an hour drive to campus. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was a great base for both exploring the area and spending quality time together as a family. And the dogs absolutely loved the yard! Overall, a very positive experience—we’d definitely stay here again!

Mother Nature’s Oasis

Beautiful home with spectacular views. The home has everything to make a stay comfortable with thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. We could not have been happier. After hastily departing from another location due to an infestation of bugs discovered in the bed sheets, we found this location and the owner was happy to oblige a same-day check in. The cabin was spotless, the views were amazing, and we can't wait to go back next year!
