"What a disappointment, Hotel Avisa was! We reserved a room with two queen beds, and asked for a second for a room with balcony. When we arrived, Muriel was manning the desk. He was unfriendly, and curt. We arrived at 10 till four and had to wait 10 minutes for a room to be ready. It was the middle of the week, Tuesday. We went up to our room and were disappointed. We did not have a balcony, or at least one we could stand on and had a view of the parking lot which was noisy. For $170 a night room...

"Motel is in a great location, two blocks from the Embarcadero. It is on a steep hill going down to Embarcadero, so if you have difficulty walking or handicapped it may be very hard walk. Very quiet. Staff was welcoming. Room was ok, nothing special. Shower was extremely small. Toilet needs to be fastened down, every time we used it, it would hit the wall, as if it was going to fall apart. Pizza Port within walking distance was very good."

"Great newly renovated rooms. Clean & king bed was nice. A bit on the softer side and pillows were unsupportive. So if you like firm support, bring your own. Plenty of space in the room with small table & couple of chairs. Love seat offered a pull out if you have another guest or dog to sleep in. Bathroom was freshly painted & clean. Although shower stall was a bit tight for most 6’ individual and the amenities were on the floor (shampoo, conditioner & body wash) as it didn’t seem they were...

"We spent two nights at Estero Inn and very much enjoyed our relaxing stay. The Inn is very clean and right on the water, next to a Sailing School. We enjoyed watching the youth in their sail boats learning how to sail. It is very close to shopping and restaurants but separate enough that it was very quiet. And I love that is has a Tesla charger!"
