Beautiful Indian Lake cottage in a quiet neighborhood, our place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. It is the perfect place for golfing, boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming! In the winter, you can explore snowmobile trails and enjoy ice fishing. Bring your boat, jet ski, canoe, or kayak and enjoy the lake! It is just 5 minutes from downtown Dowagiac where you can enjoy nice restaurants. For golf lovers, it is just 2 minutes from Indian Lake Hills Golf Course.

This is a cozy cottage in a rustic style, across from Lakeview Avenue, on top of a little hill in front o Indian Lake. It has been recently renovated for the comfort and safety of our guests! It is a quiet but yet enjoyable place to stay.
The deck is a shared space for all apartments.

    This was a horrible experience! From the get! Ignorance at its finest. The place smelt so bad like garbage and wet dog. I pulled up as the cleaning ppl were leaving. If that’s clean idk what’s dirty. They gave me a new comforter (old comforter just new option), which smelt terrible also. The floors ruined our socks. We requested help and instead of calling some strange man was at our door. My bf was walking outside and they met each other. My bf said it wasn’t a good time to come in and if he could please come back in a hr he and 1/2. The man said “yes” and then never showed up at agreed time. We went to our engagement and came home to bags on our doorsteps! It was used soap, old mop, no dustpan, and no windex! We went and purchased cleaning supplies. There was 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 paper towel for 10 days! The bed was unbelievable! Broken in the middle where u fall in. We slip sideways for 10 days. There’s no beach access either. There’s not 2 beds. It’s not a vacation spot. None of the descriptions are correct. Then we are cooking dinner go to take food out and the stove door fell off on my bf foot! Then the kitchen drawer was staples together with a huge area that no longer contains wood. There was zero HOT WATER THE WHOLE TIME! If u were lucky it might b luke warm and had to run all the sinks to get it that temp.Lastly, the owner accused us of destroying his property! It’s also not a safe! Lying to vrbo. But vrbo lied to us also. We’re still waiting for our refund!

    For a couple, this was an excellent option. Budget friendly, in a nice quiet area, and with all the conveniences we needed. The bed was definitely a lot softer than we were used to, but we still slept moderately well. The air conditioning was absolutely AMAZING! We've stayed in a lot of places where it was a struggle to get the place down to 75, never mind anything else, and this would go as low as we ever wanted without even blinking.

    This apartment was the perfect size for 2 people on a weekend getaway. I did not realize that it was going to be as small as it was, but it was great. The shower is a bit agressive on its spray, we definitely got powerwashed, haha. The cleaners need to clean inside the couch, but other than those things, the plae was great.

    Listing is as advertised in photos, however the water in the bathroom shower has a strong stench and visible discolored quality that will leave your body with a smell. I found the shower completely unusable because of this. This is also mentioned by other guests in their guest book, so clearly not a new problem. I knew what I was getting into with the sparse furnishing, but the lack of shower was obviously problematic on a beach vacation.

    It was more than expected, Robson is 1 of the best host we have ever had and we have traveled all around the world. Robson didn't shortcut with any comfort or conveniences, full stocked with everything just like at home, from the kitchen, bathroom, patio EVERYWHERE. Robson even sent a surprise touch, he sent us links to everything we might need in all the surrounding areas, from RESTAURANT'S, GAS STATIONS, DINING, you name it we didn't have to search for it. Great job Robson, we would recommend your ABNB to everything looking to stay in any area you have lodging. Appreciate you

    Nice quaint little space.

    Overall property was good for short stay. Fairly small space, very tight bathroom, but was good to shower and sleep. Wish the lake had public access and the outside could use a little spring cleaning. Again it is as advertise.

    Never Again

    1. No smoke detectors which is against the law. 2. Two towels, one washcloth for two people staying a week. 3. Only streaming TV, no cable or local. You have to use your own subscriptions. 4. If you get there too late you have to park next to the street. 5. bathroom is so small you can hardly turn around. Towel rack comes apart and hangs over the stool. 6. livablility: One lamp in the living/dining/kitchen cominaiton, one couch, no other seating in the "living area".

    Everything you need for a relaxing weekend for 1-2 people. The shower head needs replacing as it tends to go straight to go to middle of back wall and can’t move it to a more accommodative angle. Shower sprayer built into the head would work perfectly. Great water pressure! There isn’t public access to the lake actually. I wanted to go sit by the lake on a public grassy area and read but all the lakeside is private backyards of residential homes. Did not expect that. But it was quiet and relaxing. People in area are nice and friendly. Everyone I’ve ever met from Michigan have been nice and friendly! I enjoyed my stay. Sister Lake Brewing Company was good!!!

    Nice little place.

    Great location for my stay. The place was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was little soft for me, but it was ok. The apartment is one corner of a house that is divided into 3 units. If one of your neighbors is noisy, you will hear it through the walls. It wasn't a big problem for me, but it was noticeable.
