For something a bit different, Port Lympne Safari Park and Howletts Wildlife Sanctuary (both within 14 miles) make for brilliant family days out and are guaranteed to impress kids and grown-ups alike. Plus, when you want to dine out, Folkestone (6 miles) offers fantastic locally caught fish and chip dinners.
