You arrive high above the heart of Dortmund — a calm attic studio on the Wallring, with skylights that fill it with natural light. The city centre, the main station, and the U-Bahn are all within a few minutes' walk, yet up here you feel a world away from the bustle. Whether you're here as a couple, a small family, on business, or for a match or a trade fair, there's room for up to three to settle in.

- Sleeping & Living: A separate bedroom with a king-size bed and room-darkening shades for restful sleep, plus a comfortable single bed in an open nook of the living area — sleeping for up to three. The bright living and dining areas sit beneath the skylights. A Smart TV is ready for your own streaming accounts. Fresh bed linen is provided, along with extra pillows and blankets.



- Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen for cooking at your own pace — from quick breakfasts to a proper dinner. A hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, capsule coffee machine, kettle, and toaster are all available, along with wine glasses. We provide an initial supply of coffee capsules. Tea is provided, and salt, pepper, sugar, and milk are there to get you started. Dish soap, kitchen roll, and dishwasher tabs are included.



- Bathroom: A bright daylight bathroom with a walk-in shower and hair dryer. Fresh towels and toilet paper are provided.



- Laundry: A shared washer and dryer in the basement laundry room are available for longer stays.

You're right on the Hoher Wall, part of Dortmund's Wallring that rings the historic city centre. This is the Westentor corner of the inner city — a genuinely central spot where the main shopping streets, the cultural quarter around the Dortmunder U, and the lively Union- and Kreuzviertel are all within easy reach on foot.



# Shopping & Essentials



A REWE supermarket with a bakery is about 6–8 minutes away on foot (Rheinische Straße 47, open Mon–Sat). For everything else, the Thier-Galerie shopping centre and the Westenhellweg — one of Germany's busiest shopping streets — are roughly 6–9 minutes on foot, with drugstores and high-street shops along the way.



# Dining



The Hoher Wall and the neighbouring Union- and Kreuzviertel are full of cafés, bars, and restaurants — from traditional Dortmund breweries to independent kitchens and late-night spots, most within a short walk of the door.



# Leisure & Attractions



- German Football Museum (approx. 10–12 min on foot) — a must for football fans, right by the main station

# Parking



There are no private or reserved parking spaces for this apartment. Paid on-street parking is available in the surrounding streets, though spaces are in demand — allow a few extra minutes when you arrive. For a reliable alternative, the Tiefgarage Westentor (Schmiedingstraße 25) is a short walk away. Please note there is no entry to this car park on Sundays and public holidays.



# Public Transport



The U-Bahn stop Westentor (lines U43/U44) is just 2–4 minutes on foot, with direct connections across the city. Dortmund Hauptbahnhof and the central bus station are about 10 minutes on foot, or one to two U-Bahn stops away.

Tip: download the VRR app to buy single tickets or day passes directly on your phone — no need for cash at the machine.



# By Car



Dortmund Airport (DTM) is about 20–25 minutes by car. From the main station, the AirportExpress reaches the airport in around 25 minutes (please note the standard VRR ticket is not valid on this service).

The studio is on the top (5th) floor. Please note it is not step-free: the lift serves the building up to the 4th floor, and the studio is one floor above, reached by a staircase — worth keeping in mind if you're travelling with heavy luggage.



The single bed sits in an open nook of the living area, which is not separated from the rest of the open living space — comfortable for a third guest, worth noting for anyone who prefers a fully separate second sleeping area.



Please note there is no air conditioning. As an attic studio under the roof, it can get warm in summer; a standing fan is provided.



The apartment is on the Wallring, a main road through the city centre. With the windows open, some urban background noise can be noticeable; the windows are well insulated and keep noise out when closed.



There are no private parking spaces for this apartment. Paid on-street parking is available nearby, with the Tiefgarage Westentor a short walk away (no entry on Sundays and public holidays).



Stay Over Cleaning is available on request for an additional fee. Just get in touch and we'll arrange it.



Pets are not permitted.



Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.



We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of neighbours and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM onwards.



For direct bookings, a refundable security deposit may be required. If applicable, the details will be confirmed before arrival.



A local accommodation tax (Beherbergungsabgabe) of 7.5% applies to overnight stays in the City of Dortmund and will be taken into account for your booking.
