Access and check-in are handled independently via a key box with a code, which you’ll receive well in advance of your arrival. So, by arrangement, you can arrive at any time, day or night.
Pure nature! You’ll be staying in an idyllic village on the edge of the Westerwald.
In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find numerous hiking and biking trails that offer you absolute peace and relaxation. Large forest areas are right nearby, and with a bit of luck, you might spot deer or other animals such as birds of prey and foxes there. There are also several lakes and nature reserves to explore.
The apartment is located directly on the main road through Dornburg-Thalheim—the cozy heart of the village. During the day, cars and tractors pass by on the street, reminding you of the tranquil life in the countryside. Inside, however, you’ll enjoy soothing quiet thanks to the modern triple-glazed windows.
The town has a bakery (opening in May 2026) as well as restaurants.
The nearest shopping options are just 3 km away.
Pets allowed only by arrangement
Parking and lockable bike storage (upon request) are available.

The apartment entrance is not wheelchair-accessible. Access is only possible via the outdoor staircase (see photo), which is easy to navigate thanks to two handrails.
