  • Eden Cottage is a terraced cottage in the heart of Cerne Abbas, famous for its chalk "rude man" on the hillside. This is a wonderful part of Dorset with many attractions and a fascinating and varied coastline within easy reach.. 2 steps to entrance.

Tucked away between Dorchester and Sherborne, in the heart of Cerne Abbas, famous for its dominating chalk carving of the Cerne Giant, this attractive stone built terraced holiday cottage is ideally located to explore this wonderful part of Dorset. Visit Cerne Abbey, the historic town of Sherborne, Dorchester and Weymouth with their many attractions, or spend days out down on the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast between Weymouth and Lyme Regis. Shop and three pubs. 150 yards.

    There is a short-cut into Long Street, the main road through Cerne Abbas - "The Snicket".

The cottage was lovely in an idyllic village, handy for the busses. The garden was a sun trap and was lovely to sit in but the grass needed cutting. We felt the bathroom needed some TLC but overall the perfect place for a holiday away from it all.

We stayed in Eden Cottage last week for half term. It was lovely. The cottage was very comfortable, warm & cosy. The location is great. The village is so pretty, with 3 nice pubs & a handy shop/PO. What a great place to stay.

What a great place to stay. Was there a whole week the weather was perfect as was Eden Cottage. Clean,comfortable just simnply lovely. To be honest parking is a bit of a pain, but I did park mu hire car outside the front door an no complaints. Did try to park round the back but scratched the hire car. Used the Giant Inn the most staff and food amazing. Would so recommend to anyone. jsut a perfect place to stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely week at Eden Cottage.

We had a lovely week at Eden Cottage. It has everything you need there to have a totally easy and relaxing holiday. The cottage is pleasant, quiet and homely and the local people and surrounding neighbours are lovely. The village is idyllic and peaceful with adequate facilities and good pubs. It is central to visiting the rest of Dorset - a beautiful county.

We have stayed 7 times now and find the cottage perfect for our family of 3.

We have stayed 7 times now and find the cottage perfect for our family of 3. Its situated in a lovely village setting with friendly neighbours. Cerne Abbas is in central Dorset and so most parts of the county are easily accessible.

Cosy cottage. Only worry was the front access. Door lock tricky, and front step rather steep for elderly people.
