"El castillo es muy bonito y te traslada al pasado. El desayuno muy bueno (cargo adicional) y variado, en un salón de época. El personal muy amable, aunque los ves muy poco porque dejan al huésped a su aire y con total libertad por la propiedad. La experiencia privada en el maravilloso spa fue increíble. Lo único que quiero comentar es que se sube las habitaciones por una escalera de caracol estrecha y no es fácil con maleta grande, como fue nuestro caso."

"The room was very spacious and beautiful! The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. So quiet; views of the Loire River. A lovely little town. Very welcoming."

"The Chateau was wonderful. We enjoyed walking the grounds. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We also ate at the restaurant at the chateau. The dinner each night was fantastic. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone for a truly special experience"

"Excellent place to stay in Loire Valley! Definitely will return for the lovely breakfasts, accommodation and service!!!"

"Owner was not answering the bell when we arrived in the stated window of 5 to 7 pm. Had to wait about 15 minutes to get in."

"This was a very charming place to stay. The housekeeper was very sweet and accommodating. No matter what we needed or wanted, made it happen! Breakfast was fresh and there was plenty to eat. Less than a 10 minute walk to town with unique shops. A perfect spot to stay as a base for Loire Valley day trips too. Our host bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and gave us many tips and support from the time we arrived and until we left. We will definitely be back!"

"Ordentliches Stadthotel mit Tiefgarage und Aufzug. Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Allerdings sind Teppichböden mit teilweise Flecken verlegt. Badezimmer war relativ neuwertig. Allerdings war die Klopapierhalterung defekt. Frühstück war einfach, aber qualitativ gut."

"Great staff, great location"

"Exceptional quality in a beautiful setting. Amazing place to stay for chateau lovers."

"The hotel is good overall. But I had a bumpy check-in on the first day. When I arrived around 9:20pm, the hotel front door was locked and dark inside. I knocked on the door and there was no answer. And it's on a very small and quiet street. I waited and waited, until a local lady passed by - from whom I asked for help, Luckily she found the number to call and helped me connect to the reception, and I was able to check in. I wish there were better solutions available for late arrivals."

"It's like staying at a close friend's home, or your favorite aunt's. Comfortable, friendly and homey. Close to everything you want to see, yet in a residential neighborhood so you get a feel for living in Amboise."

"Clean and georgous , but too far away from central town"
