"While Dayton is a smaller community, the Dayton Inn and the town itself exceeded our expectations! This hotel has 12 beautifully appointed rooms with exceptional upgrades such as heated towel bars in the bathroom, afternoon wine and cheese social and wonderful bedding. The manager cheerfully greeted us at check in and although our room wasn't ready, she provided many options in town to consider while we waited. The location is very convenient to so many different wineries and the town itself...

"Had some issues making an adjustment to original booking dates despite it saying changes or cancelations could be made up to a day before arrival. Instead of removing one of the three nights they cancelled the existing booking entirely and rebooked for 2 at a date much closer to the trip which drastically increased the cost of this stay. Room had a weird smell. About what you would expect for a lower cost hotel/motel type stay."

"My room was not ready until 9:00 pm and then I was shorted on a king bed. "

"It was better than expected! Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and eager to assist. Continental breakfast was basic, but gets the job done with juices, coffee, apples, oranges, yoghurt, waffles, cereals, bread etc. Only issue was that the bathtub tap in room 326 was slightly faulty, resulting in water dripping every 1-2 secs throughout the day. Light sleepers may have issues, with it. Otherwise, the hotel is reasonably priced. Will not hesitate to stay again the next time...

"The hot tub and indoor pool were very nice. Clean and modern. Everything else was competitive for the price point which I would describe as average. Free breakfast was basic. Coffee was drinkable. Room was quiet from outside noise but AC was a little"

"Grounds and room were wonderful. One star off bc breakfast fell short. Pastries and beverages were good, but “hot” breakfast was lukewarm, premade and just heated up, not made to order. I barely ate any of it. Not up to the standard of what would be expected from such a lovely property in the middle of a farm. We have stayed at multiple b & bs in the area and this was the worst food by far. I would recommend setting a time for breakfast, or asking guests what time they’d like breakfast the next...
