"Good morning,
I just wanted to let you know that I experienced a few problems with breakfast during our stay.
Firstly, on Saturday morning, when I asked for a coffee, I was given a half cup of cold black coffee by a young man. I did not say anything at the time. The following morning, I bought my own coffee and noticed that everyone else in the restaurant was being served coffee in a small cafetière. I did not understand why this was not offered to me.
Also, on Sunday morning, I ordered Eggs...

"The hotel is lovely and has a wonderful history. The staff was friendly and helpful. Claire esp went above and beyond! Internet was spotty and inconsistent. The rooms were very warm and temp couldn't be adjusted easily. Location in New Town and near the tram made getting around very easy. Plenty of coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and a mall nearby!"

"Stay at this hotel. It felt like our home away from home in Edinburgh. Rianne (I think that’s how her name is spelled) and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, which makes a big difference when you’re traveling in a foreign country. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was the best we had at any hotel in Scotland, the location was excellent - central to everything but still pretty quiet for a good night’s rest. Also, we always saw the housekeeping team working very hard to keep the hotel...

"The room and amenities and view and building and staff were all lovely. Very luxurious feeling hotel. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty vegetarian options.
The only downside is there's no lift/elevator and 47 plus stairs is a bit much for me but if you have no mobility issues 100 out of 10 would definitely recommend "
