Ryokan en Dingle

"Other than the loud noises at all hours of the night (and morning) from other guests this place was great. And you might be thinking “how is that the hotel’s fault?”. I can assure you that when you receive a knock at 3 am on your door from someone going down the hallway and knocking on everyone’s door that you too will be looking to place blame somewhere. Maybe some signs, a reminder at checkin, some cameras, something that reminds people to be courteous, because apparently they need to be...

"We had a great stay here. This appears to be a historic residence with wonderful areas. Each area we walked though had many examples of the generations of owners. The room was large and well appointed The staff were charming and we can't say enough good things about the way the sisters interacted with us. Breakfast was wonderful, all the food was homemade and delicious"

"Excellent service"

"Hotel is very well situated near good restaurants, pub and music. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very small with barely room for our not large bags. As with many hotels in Europe/UK and even the US, there is little room for luggage so it is frustrating having to step around luggage on the floor. Often for two travelers, two luggage racks and room to set them up would be great. We had a room with a bathtub/shower combo. The floor was very very slippery so we mentioned to staff...

"Excellent hotel! The part of not having an elevator and having to carry the luggage through 3 floors is hard. I would consider this if you are not traveling with someone who can help you go through the stairs (very narrow, by the way). And not having air conditioning in the rooms makes them extremely hot. Especially if you are on the top floor where you get a lot of sunshine. Only because the owners are extremely polite makes it a good experience."

"Fantastic B&B. The hosts are super nice. The room was spotless clean, quiet and comfortable. And the breakfast was super! Highly recommended. "

"Habitación espaciosa y limpia, con cama muy cómoda. Desayuno muy completo y variado. Un tanto decadente (el baño no era precisamente nuevo) pero relación calidad precio muy buena. Personal muy amable. Y muy de agradecer el aparcamiento propio."
