Your getaway in beautiful Sky Valley, Georgia provides wooded and mountain views next to a magical winding creek. A warm, inviting home that offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Situated next to a fabulous firepit and surrounded by well appointed decks with plenty of seating and a grill for days and evenings of relaxation.

Feel at home in the living room with soaring ceilings and cozy fireplace. This space is open to the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar that seats four as well as dining table that seats 6 for meals at home or to play games and enjoy the beautiful views. Perfect for relaxing after a busy day visiting downtown Clayton and the Highlands, hiking, golf, antiquing, white water rafting, and visiting local restaurants or just relaxing by the pool.

Down the hall you will find a bedroom with King bed with private access to the bathroom and across the hall is a second bedroom with King bed. In the lower level you will find a bedroom with King bed adjacent to another bedroom with King bed. The living area downstairs is a fabulous entertainment area with indoor basketball arcade, 55" TV, trundle bed (2 twins), and deck access to enjoy the fire pit and hammock.

This peaceful home accommodates up to 8 guests with four Kings, and one Twin sized trundle bed. Enjoy majestic Sky Valley, GA - winter mountain views and fabulous firepit near the creek. Come ready to play golf, tennis, pickleball, and roast marshmallows or hang out. Perfect for a memorable vacation or quick getaway for a change of scenery.

Great location for sky to summit race. Perfect for our family, nice balcony, comfy beds. May suggest trying to have leaves blown of driveway before guest arrival as it made it very difficult to tell what you were stepping on. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Relaxing location

We really enjoyed our stay, we attended a wedding in the area and the vacation home was very close to the venue. The home is located in a nice woodsy setting, easy access to the main road, plenty of room for a family & friends, comfy beds and relaxing surroundings, would recommend to stay in the future.

Great October 2024 Getaway

Average to good property. Interior had been remodeled, but exterior needs attention. Pressure wash exterior, seating, decks, and cleaning the thick masses of leaves off decks. Overall would recommend but keep in mind the upkeep could use improvement. No mountain overlook views, but nice area with small creek behind house. Plenty of rooms and beds for extended family.

Sky Valley delight!

Just far enough off the beaten path but close to so many waterfalls, hikes, gems, swimming, fishing...we had a ball! Great house with four king beds and plenty of space for families. Backyard with great firepit and stream - crawdads and salamanders await!

Peaceful Getaway House

This place is amazing! It was so quiet & peaceful- you could here the little stream running in the back yard.. The house was very comfortable and roomy. The community pool was right around the corner- short drive. We enjoyed the Dillard House, horseback riding & shopping in Clayton. Quick responses from Lisa. She even let us know about events happening in the area on the week we stayed. Our only complaint was that the kitchen was short on baking ware. It would be nice to have some 9 x13 size pans. We cooked most of our evening meals so we needed them. Overall, very satisfied & would stay again.

Wonderful home and great host

Everything at this house was perfect. The host was very attentive and accommodating. We had 5 adults and 2 kiddos as well as 2 adults that visited often. There was plenty of space for us to be together or for us to spread out for some quiet time. The kids enjoyed the games in the basement and the dogs enjoyed the back yard. I would definitely visit again!

Great for family

We loved our stay in Sky Valley. The property was just what we needed for our mixed family getaway. The kids had plenty of space to play in the downstairs game room and they absolutely loved exploring the creek. There was plenty of room for everyone but be advised that the stairs are steep so the older couple in our group had to sleep upstairs and weren’t able to easily get downstairs to the laundry. Kitchen was well stocked and had some extras too! Our only real complaint was that we had 5 kids with us and the back yard was a little more “rustic” than we were expecting but sitting by the creek in the hammock with a coffee is not to be missed!

Family Fourth Gathering

We stayed for 6 days in this home in Sky Valley. Enjoyed the hikes, pool, golf and exploring the area. Grandkids loved the stream and the pool. Home was clean and well appointed. Host was very accommodating.

GA Mountain Getaway

The house is spacious and was well suited for our family needs. Celebrated Paps' birthday there with grown children, spouses, grandchildren. Close to Highlands for dining and shopping. Only disappointment was the artificial fireplace. Don't know what you call it, but it was a tv screen with burning logs. No heat, no ambiance. Kinda silly for a mountain house nestled in the woods. Could have more supplies. One soap dispenser for 2 bathrooms, little TP, and didn't discover there was no coffee until the first morning there, Wish we'd known to BYOC.

A complete delight!

What a great place to stay. We used all four of the king size bedrooms and enjoyed having two separate dens. Kids could play downstairs and adults used upstairs family room. It was very clean, bright and airy. I especially loved the decor. All bright and cheerful. Great yard with a stream the grandkids enjoyed playing in. Cabin is located in Sky Valley in a wonderful neighborhood. There are cabins close by but still have privacy. Enjoyed so much sitting on deck watching the grands romp and play in the yard. There were several games there for kids to enjoy. Also close to the clubhouse and amenities. Gail was wonderful to work with. Can’t wait to come back.

Stolen property and unclean

My family stayed here and after the first night reported to the host unclean sheets with hair and makeup . She immediately apologized and stated she would refund the cleaning fee which was an adequate response but she backtracked and never followed through. Also, property was stolen and rearranged while we were gone for the day. We immediately left and filed a police report- the host was not helpful at all. Beware.

Pre-Thanksgiving Family Trip

The house was very cozy, nice touch of christmas decorations. The house is in a very good location, only approximately 20 minutes to Clayton, Franklin and the Highlands. Beautiful views of the porch in the fall (no leaves on the trees) and wonderful to watch the sunset from the kitchen table. Kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking meals and the beds were very comfortable. The gas fire ring on the lower porch was a nice touch, although doesn't put off a lot of ambient heat when windy! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Fantastic home

This was such a delightful home! We loved the decor and how comfy the beds were! This home was well stocked and we loved that it had a few essentials that we needed- salt and pepper! Both of my girls had school work and the wifi was great. The proximity to the main hwy was nice but also not close enough to hear road noise. We loved listening to the sound of the creek. We had a great time and look forward to coming back!!!
