  • Esta es una hermosa casa de 5 dormitorios y 4 baños ubicada en la ciudad de Digby. Tres de las habitaciones en el segundo piso tienen su propio baño privado.

    También hay un acogedor patio frente al océano donde se puede ver el amanecer sobre la bahía de Fundy todas las mañanas. A group of friends and I travelled to Digby for a whale watching weekend away. The house was a great size to fit a few couples and we had so much fun. Each room was clean and super unique, and we had lots of space to watch tv, play cards - just have a fun weekend with pals. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a big space for a bigger group. Would definitely come back.

Only issue was with the bathroom showers. They could be better (should be enclosed showers; more consistent water heat, pressure). Overall great accomodations and layout.

Great location with lots of parking and spacious rooms. Beds comfortable and the owners were great to deal with.

The house was great! The beds so comfortable and loads of room. We had no problems at all. Loved the outside patio area. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a classic historic maritime house, there was lots of room here! It was clean and comfortable and we each had our own bathroom. It was a very quick walk to all the action in downtown Digby, we enjoyed that part very much. Our responsive hosts were very welcoming.

Family golf weekend

We travel as a group of 8 ( 4 brothers and their wives ) for golfing every year and decided we wanted to stay in digby. We stayed at this property and it was perfect for us. There wss actually 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms so everyone had their own space . The patio was large and plenty of chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed . We had a great time here.

The photos and description of the house on VRBO are not accurate. As soon as we checked in, we decided to leave. The house needs lots of repairs, it wasn’t clean, the beds are ancient, furniture is old and dusty. The yard is in pretty bad shape too. The owner refunded our payment right away, and she was easy to deal with, but it was hard to find another place on such a short notice, and the whole ordeal was pretty stressful.

Renter Beware! This property is nothing like it is advertised. Forget the view from the deck, there isn't one. The pictures online show a clear view of the property, front and back with the house showing no overgrowth, but you can't even see the front door from the street it is no overgrown.. It was so bad the front door was nailed shut - a fire hazard at best - molded deck and back wall, smelled of mildew and mold inside. The linens looked dirty and like they were 20 years old. It was hot but there was no air conditioner or fans. The windows were open, some with no screens and some wouldn't close, so insects were free to enter. In bad repair. I will say there were 2 small air conditioners IN BOXES unopened in the middle of the floor. We have pictures and would love to share them, but I see Expedia doesn't offer that option. We checked with the fire department & police and were told of many formal complaints , one said owner lost lawsuit others said more suits in process. The people there want him gone! 2 neighbors stopped by to warn us, but we'd already seen the problems. We Refused to stay there and now having to fight for our money back. ?? No help so far from Expedia, and communication with the owner has mysteriously disappeared from the site. Would appreciate hearing if anyone else has been misled like this.

nice big house with view of water and the tide changes

Big bedrooms; the 3 on the 2nd floor each have their own bathrooms - there are 2 bedrooms on the first floor (one very nice - so we used that one) and one bath to share, which is through the kitchen. The stairs (20 of them) to the 2nd floor are steep. The kitchen is well-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc, and it was nice that there were spices so we didn't have to buy them. Only negative is that the table in the kitchen is not big enough for 8 people to eat at together (ok for 5 at the table), although there were enough chairs in the kitchen for 9. The living room has 2 couches, but again, not possible for 8 people to sit down and chat at once. Nice back deck with enough chairs for 8, and a table for 4. There are 12-foot ceilings! There is a piano in the living room. Near the main street in Digby, so you could walk to restaurants. P.S. I almost overlooked this house when I was booking, since the listing at that time said 5 bedrooms but only 1 bathroom, but now it has been corrected.
