Stay just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean at Cozy Gem, a beachy cottage where the air is always salty and the coastal town vibes put you right into a vacation state of mind. No matter the season, this homey 2 bedroom reminds you there’s no better place to be than at the beach. This ideal location is a short walk to Dewey Beach, plus you’re within easy reach of vibrant nightlife in town and family fun in neighboring Rehoboth Beach.

The Space:
Return home after sun-filled days, ready to relax. The home’s outdoor shower is certainly a must use after hours on the sand, but with a completely private setting it might just be your favorite shower on the property too. Inside the vibrant and light-filled home is anchored by a central living, dining, and kitchen space. Cozy couches surround a TV where you can enjoy movie nights or spend rainy hours in. The bright kitchen has all the appliances and space you’ll need to make nutritious breakfasts, prepare lunches on the go, or cook dinners at home.

This home sleeps 4 guests between 2 private bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom.

Bedroom #2 has 2 twin size beds.

Parking space for 2 vehicles is available in the driveway.

Just down the road is “America’s Summer Capital,” Rehoboth Beach. The family-friendly coastal town is known for its famous boardwalk with eclectic shops and locally run restaurants, nearby amusement parks, and seafood fishing, in addition to the beloved beaches. On and off the boardwalk, dozens of noteworthy restaurants, bars, and cafes that have been Rehoboth favorites for generations wait to impress. If you’re looking for classic American beach town experience, this is it!

Awesome, but

This is my second time staying here, and I really love the fantastic location and cozy vibe! However, there were a couple of little hiccups during this visit. When we first arrived, there was a really strong smell of cleaner, which made us open all the windows and turn on the fans to air things out. Luckily, the scent faded after a while. Also, I noticed the shower curtain in the bathroom adjacent to the bedroom had some mold on it. On the bright side, the kitchen is wonderfully stocked, which I truly appreciate! Overall, it’s still a great place to stay, and I look forward to coming back!

Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I came down to Dewey Beach with my dog. While many of the hotels in Dewey are dog friendly, this was a much better fit for us and him! Having multiple beds and the 2 bedrooms was much more economical than booking 2 hotel rooms and my dog was much more relaxed staying in the house than he has been when I’ve previously taken him and stayed in a hotel. The full kitchen with appliances, silverware, pots/pans, etc. was also great for making breakfast/lunch in rather than ordering out for everything. We do still love the Dewey Beach restaurants, however, and the house was pretty central to all of our favorites…I really did find the location to be perfect! I only knocked a star off of the check in process category because there was a minor hiccup there with the code provided, but if I could give 6/5 stars to the Grand Welcome customer service team, I would! They were super helpful every time I called and resolved this hiccup within moments while staying on the phone with me until I got in. Overall, this was a great stay and my family and myself agree that we would book here again!

Location location location

This was the perfect place for our family to stay in Dewey Beach. We were close to the beach as well as restaurants and live music venues. We had three generations in one house and everyone had a blast. Communication with the owner yielded quick responses.

Cute beach shack

Overall it's a great spot. Loved the outdoor shower and having a front yard for our doggo. Although everything is dated it was clean. My suggestions are to get central air and replace the sofa covers or sofas. Not too inviting to sit on. Master mattress is very hard.

Shabby chic and perfect!

This property was so cute and very clean. It has been one of the best places I stayed out and very accommodating to my families needs. Great location to the bay or ocean side and of course the restaurants. I hope to stay again in May 2025. Thank you for a great vacation!

Perfect for Fall long weekend getaway

Well appointed small rental w/ kitchen. Perfect for a small family or a getaway with your spouse and a furry friend. Starboard and Dewey Brewing only blocks away. Clean, linens and towels, cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, coffee/keurig w/ coffee!! Close to Cape Henlopen State Park (30 min), but a must see for dunes, hiking, biking trails - perfect for you canine friend. Don’t be surprised if we are back next year!

Great location, kept us dry!

The location and character of this property was excellent. We stayed during Tropical Storm Ophelia and had no issues with water or wind damage. The driveway sat up higher than the neighbors so we were able to avoid any vehicle flooding. Our only complains were the pet smells and some of the towels were dirty. Other than that we very much enjoyed at stay at Cozy Gem!
