"The studio unit for our family of four is located at the top of the building. The lift stops at second floor, we have to carry the luggage one more floor up to the room. The room size is good, kitchenette is useful. However the water heater doesn’t seem to be working. The water is only warm for the first five seconds, called the reception to report the issue and it didn’t get fixed. We ended up taking cold showers."

"I cannot recommend this hotel and would strongly advise other travelers to avoid it. It is disappointing that such a poorly managed property exists in an otherwise wonderful country like Switzerland. I booked a “Superior Room, 1 Double Bed” through Expedia for June 8–13, 2026. "Nice hotel in a very convenient area for walking around old town Zurich. Lovely breakfast room and delicious breakfast."

"Room was very spacious and well laid out. Little additions line a retractable cloth line in the bath tub was very useful. Room was cool though it was a boiling 30 degrees outside. Staff were were helpful. You can get tickets to lindt factory on the day even (most times) though it was not available online. Breakfast was good though not a great selection for vegetarians. Would definitely recommend."

"Fantastic experience. Staff was just amazing. Excellent breakfast buffet every morning. Ask for train ticket at counter, the hotel sells train tickets at lesser cost than at station. We rented an EV to get around, hotel has plenty of parking and a charging station that we used each day to recharge."

"This hotel was easy to get to by bus from the train station. Bus 510 drops you off right by hotel and also picks up every 30 minutes to head back to airport. There is a grocery store 5 minutes walking distance to pick up anything you need. Our room was clean and perfect for a one night stay over before heading back to the U.S. We were a family of 4 and quite satisfied. "

"The hotel was not as clean as I expected for a hotel in Switzerland. The shower especially, had signs of mold from less-than-careful cleaning. There was a very large group of non-Swiss tourists that arrived late in the evening, who were extremely noisy (yelling, slamming doors) until almost midnight, at which point I asked them to be considerate of other guests trying to sleep.
