  • Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located authentic industrial loft. Our loft is located just 2mins outside of Downtown in an up and coming area. Sits on corner lot directly adjacent to a private River Walk and bike trail. A 5 min walk, and you're at Detroit's famous Green Dot Stables for the best sliders in the city! Spend your date night downtown.

Pictures look way better than in person. Failed to mention your on the 4th floor with no elevator. Place stunk like burnt weed as soon as you open the door. This place is ghetto definitely wouldn’t recommend for anyone to stay there.

I stayed for 3 nights in October. The view from the apartment was great. Good weather, quiet and clean place. Full sun in the afternoon. Access to Lime Scooters, or Uber was very easy. I enjoyed the stay and would return in the future. The host was quick to respond to my questions, and very nice.

Nice loft in quiet area

The property was great located in a quiet part of town. We had easy access to Ubers. It was very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful view.

No shade

The vrbo has character, the view was spectacular however the largest window did not have a shade or curtain. The morning light woke me up way too early and the place was a little dusty.

Great loft

It was really a great stay. Very close to downtown, host left amenities like snacks, water and soda. Host was very responsive and nice, plus its extremely close to some cool bars in cork town the casino and downtown. I would stay here again. The loft was comfy cozy and the view was very pretty.

Great place for a stop in Detroit

Came into Detroit for an event and this was a great spot to stay for the night. Host was very communicative and provided very clear instructions for arriving and leaving. The space was very clean, safe and comfortable.

Great spot!

Close to everything, great location, amazing view. You can sometimes hear neighbors’ music, but I liked everything they were playing- it’s a loft. Host super communicative and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

The apartment was clean and ready for renters. The host had water and pop in the fridge, snacks and toiletries. It was a little dirty/sketching getting to the room but other than that it was a nice stay.

Well getting into the place is kinda weird. But with a host that promptly answered messages and even FaceTime to get us in. There is absolutely no problem. Comfy little pad to lay your head down at night and have a good time with your company. Thanks so much.

Overall the apartment it’s self was nice. The mirrors and windows were dirty though unfortunately. It would have been a great view of the bridge if the windows were clean. Also I wish I would have did more research on the area. It was really sketchy looking and the building itself was very run down. There was broken windows and broken doors on the outside of the building. If u know your way around the area then I would recommend but if ur new to the area and wanting to explore downtown Detroit I would pick something located directly in downtown Detroit and not go even 30 seconds out of the downtown area.

Dangerous location/car vandalism

The inside of the space truly was great. Other than that I wouldn’t waste your time here. Dangerous location. My car got broken into sitting right in font of the entrance of the building. Literally 10 feet from the front door. The back window and a window on a back door were smashed. They stole everything they could. I let the host know and her response was a very generic “I’m sorry that happened to you” She offered nothing other than that. Her main concern was that I got the key back in the lockbox. Overall very very disappointed in this host. Stay safe and find else where to spend your time in Detroit.

Questionable at best

The check in process was difficult, as there were 5 lockboxes on the fence line. Property was not plowed, shoveled or salted for winter conditions the entire duration of our stay. There was no street parking available unfortunately. Once inside do not expect an elevator or clearly labeled doors to help you find the unit. Once inside the loft, it was freezing cold and only somewhat clean, and the supposed "highlight" the window with the bridge view was filthy. We found an earring backing and condom wrapper near the bed, and the pillar in the bathroom had so much paint chipping off we were tracking the paint chips around the entire place. At 7am on a Sunday morning we heard the neighbors talking loudly/arguing and the hallway door slamming repeatedly. There was no curtain on the window, so it wasn't possible for us to sleep past about 7am anyways. It looks like there was once a curtain, but it was torn down and never replaced. The bed was a full size not queen as advertised in the listing. TV is tiny for a space of its size. The host was unresponsive when I reached out. For what we paid, I expected more. We would have been better off with a hotel room closer to downtown. We were also charged an extra guest fee with little to no explanation until literal days later. The fee is a non-issue; however, this stay let us down. It's not located in the safest area; the building is definitely run down but it was a place to get a few hours of rest. Try somewhere else.
