"Good all round"

"Nice location. Great amenities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious but the air conditioning unit was absolutely useless. It was a very warm night and the air conditioner just did not make any difference. So did not sleep very well. The rooms are not very sound proofed so you hear every door slamming shut. The breakfast was extensive and very good with staff on hand to refill as needed."

"The hotel lacks soft close doors meaning doors slam all night long. The pillows had separated and felt like sleeping on clumps of cotton wool. My partner is a pest controller and found they have a problem with carpet months after finding two in the bedroom on entry. We left early and didnt stay the second night."

"A beautiful hotel with well‑trained staff, but I don’t understand how guests are expected to stay there without air conditioning on hot days like 23–24 June. I have stayed a couple of times and I genuinely like the hotel and the staff, but I believe the hotel should not operate during very hot days if adequate cooling is not provided."

"Needed an escape from the London heat, and the price was affordable for inclusive breakfast, swimming pool and free parking. On arrival the staff was lackluster, but I guess we were all feeling the heat. I was caught off guard that we had to book a pool session and it only lasted 45 mins. I guess it was a busy time but still found it highly unusual. The room was clean and spacious with all basic amenities. The hotel is less than 5 mins to the main shopping area. "Pros: Booking easy, rooms spacious, staff very helpful, room super clean, discounted parking was great. Cons: breakfast very substandard, tub drain was blocked up with a huge human hairball so wouldn’t drain, steak was badly overcooked at dinner."

"The room and bathroom were not cleaned properly, the hotel looks outdated and worn, and we couldn't sleep well as someone kept opening and shutting the door all through the night and it was so loud, it shocked us awake."

"Check in was fine and quick, team member was helpful. However, the room it self even though it was tiny, we thought the bed would be bigger. It’s smaller than a double. We didn’t expect AC in the cabin, but we did require at least one fan as it was soo warm in there. I was not able to sleep. We wouldn’t stay there again, unfortunately."

"From a value perspective, this location was excellent. Breakfast was provided, rooms were comfortable and there was a Harvester restaurant across the parking lot which worked out well when we arrived back after a long and exhausting day. The location is perfect if you are visiting Oxford, Cambridge, Bletchley Park and surroundings. Staff were wonderful!"
