"We had an amazing stay! Photos were accurate. Place was clean, beautiful and tranquil! Just what we were looking for. The view was spectacular with the fall colors. We enjoyed some local hikes during the day and when we were relaxing in the evening we could look up and see the sky right from the living room. The host was very responsive. Not that we had to reach out. I did let her know when we arrived as it was mentioned some people had challenges find the place. We used Apple Maps and did not...

"The view from the cottage and deck were beautiful. The cottage has full kitchen and grill on deck. Everything you need to unwind without roughing it. The cottage is near a 4 wheeler trail, so Saturday was pretty loud. I had 3 days of great weather and spent my time reading and sewing. Fall was at its best. I loved Red Travern road for fall colors. I would definitely come back. I just might stay week days when there are less 4 wheelers. "

"Loved the house, the area and the lake. House is as described, lake is lovely, tons of things to do just at the house and almost hard to leave and explore the area! Our families threw a dart at the map this year for our vacation and we ended up with one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time. Indian and Mountain View Lakes are hidden gems in the Adirondacks and the house is full of history and tradition. Thanks to the owners for sharing this house! "
