"I’ve stayed in boutique hotels all over the world. This place is right up there for me, as one of the very best. A rare combination of luxury and great value for money.
The food was absolutely incredible for somewhere so remote.

"We loved our stay at the Lapita Guest House. It is a beautiful location. Great beach in front, palm plantation behind. Decent snorkelling nearby with schools of fish in the shallows. The guest house is very private, but really comfortable. Matt and his team were great to deal with. "Not as pictured on the web. Aircon did not work. Shower broken, hardly any water pressure when it did work, no hot water. Internet constantly stopped working, and not a safe connection. TV was for decoration only, did not work and no remote. Dirty restaurant with very limited operating hours and poor food quality. No-one at reception."

"We were a little disappointed with our stay. We arrived with a dead mouse in the shower, and I would say the house inside looked a little tired compared to the glossy pics on other sites.The beach in front is very rocky, so going for a swim or walk is not a great option.Getting here and back to Luganville also costs approx. 80 AUD so that is something to consider.The bbq area is only usable when there is no wind.
