"The room and view are amazing. It has a nice pool, although the layout is a bit backwards. The pool bar is in the shallow end and that is where the MANY children at the resort splash and play so it was a bit inconvenient; especially when pool water would end up in your drink. Maybe they could start some Adult Only times in the pool, especially during their Happy Hour. "Two twin beds together is not a queen bed. I had a hard time sleeping since the beds keep separating when you are on the bed, so uncomfortable and annoying. Why do you need a separate key for the elevator? Tell the staff to give that necessary key to guest to be able to use the elevator to get to your own room. No cleaning for a whole week? Like seriously? "

"The location is great, the host was great at communicating and available. The views was amazing.The listing did include the pool was heated but it wasn’t when we were there. I paid extra for romantic roses petals but no roses were in the room only some cheap heart shaped creations. The bathroom and towels need to be updated. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at The Forest with our baby Soleil on her very first trip to St. Maarten 🌿✨
The Forest is a beautiful boutique hotel, tucked away in the mountains on the quieter side of the island—perfect if you’re looking for peace and relaxation. Our room was comfortable and very spacious (honestly, more space than we needed since we love being out and exploring!), but it made our stay feel extra luxurious.
