Also the area Brussels Midi is not a good area, directly across from the train station and very sketchy and lots of homeless and people on drugs. We didn’t feel safe walking after dark. Also very dirty, lots of littering in the streets."

"Centrally located on Rue Royale, Motel One is about 7 minutes walk from the Grand Place. It's less than that to other places of interest such as Mont des Arts, Magritte's Museum and the Royal Palace. The tram and buses run down Rue Royale and Brussels Central train station is less than 10 minutes away. The foyer with it's floor to ceiling windows is large, welcoming and well laid out with lots of areas to relax and enjoy a drink from the bar. Be that a coffee, tea, something soft or alcoholic....

"Good solid accommodation, not luxurious but everything you need. Bed comfortable, sofa beds ok. Enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was good. Booked through Expedia and negative was they ignored all messages. You had to telephone for any contact. Also, you couldn’t book their parking in advance so basically it wasn’t available."
