"Eric was very good at communicating. We had car trouble and owners helped us out. House is nicely located, about 30 minutes to many sites. The house has a lot of history and a welcoming family feeling. We enjoyed our long stay and would recommend it to anyone."

"The house was beautiful, beds were comfortable and the hot tub was perfect for our group. It is close to the Saranac 6 high peeks and the village. Also, close to Lake Placid for some shopping. There were plenty of towels, linens were clean and there was ample bathroom space. We would return to this home. It was very inviting and relaxing!"

"Sonia and Steve are the best hosts ever! They made us feel at home and Sonia's cooking is super good. The owners on the other hand are not so gracious, we wanted to make our stay shorter since ski conditions were nit the best and Sonia talk to them but they were un flexible about the issuse abd did not let us cancelled the other days. But how Sonia and Steve treat us and pamper us, we end up having a great stay."

"The grounds are just beautiful . We loved our connecting rooms, and the beds were so comfortable. Just note there are no TV’s in the room and we had no cell service but the WiFi is excellent. The complimentary coffee and hot cocoa were delightful."

"We stayed for 1 week. We usually rent at least 1 cabin each summer (mostly through the other big rental company) and do not expect luxury accommodations. Unfortunately this cabin ranks pretty low compared to others. Some of the listing photos are clearly from when the cabin was first built or redone as the condition is not as nice now. Both showers had a lot of mildew or mold. The upstairs shower is pictured and we elected not to use it. Downstairs shower head wasn’t great but at least seemed...

"Our stay at the Riverstone Wellness Retreat was excellent. The accommodation was comfortable and well appointed. Having access to a kitchen was very helpful. Even though there is no stove, there are 2 induction cook tops, which we used. The owner also let us use the gas grill. It was quiet. I liked the blackout shades. Parking was easy. The location was great for us because a family member was doing the Lake Placid Ironman race. She was staying in Lake Placid and we could get to her hotel...
