"Beautiful and calm place surrounded by nature. However, some areas need a little more maintenance, such as the toilets near the pool area by the beach. Breakfast is ok but could offer more variety given the price paid. There are no restrooms available near the main pool, the only restroom is in the lobby. There are no phones in the rooms and if you need to communicate with the hotel staff you have to go to the lobby or use whatsapp which has a very slow response."

"Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights...
