"Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)"

"I totally enjoyed my stay at Mangoes. The owner was very accommodating, pleasant and very customer oriented. My trip was a business trip, it is 25mins to Roseau but after a hectic day at the office Mangoes was ideal for relaxing. There are lots of mosquitoes but that is expected with the location but a huge net covers the bed and I had lots of bug spray. "We had a great week at Elaine’s. Very responsive to communication. The gated property is perfectly located in a quiet area in west central Dominica. The space is more than adequate with a full kitchen, dining room, living room with plenty of comfortable seating area and large TV, bedroom, and bathroom. "Couldn’t be closer to the beach. Massive porch and surprisingly spacious cottages with notably high ceilings. Separated a good distance from the main road with a feel that is entirely secluded, save for a wave to the neighbors. Quiet and peaceful as one can imagine, the only sounds are the ones you want on a tropical island - waves, birds, and the nightly chorus. "A great place to stay. We just had a single night there before flying out of Dominica, but it was perfect. Nigel was very helpful and his dog Spice was gorgeous! We had a relaxing couple of beers and then some good food before an early night (as it was an early flight to Barbados)."
