"The house is in a beautiful spot, looking out over a verdant manicured lawn sloping down to the jungle and then ultimately out to the ocean far below. Monkeys visit the property daily. It is up a long single track road that climbs up the mountain above the Golden Rock hotel. The house itself has a big wide wrap-around porch, and open doors that let the breeze through. "What a change of scenery this was compared to living in a city! Now that I'm back home, I miss the sounds of nature from this place. At first, the sounds of the insects, goats and chickens was kind of a shock to my system. I had a hard time sleeping for the first night or two. But I totally got used to it, and now I miss it.
