"Beautiful hotel, not sure how it’s classed as a 3* on Expedia when it’s by far the nicest hotel in Newcastle. The rooms are a great size, clean and cosy and you can tell the hotel has thought of the “little things” that set it apart from a generic Hilton esque experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will be back soon :) "

"Fantastic night stay on our travels. Swimming pool / spa was lovely, our son had a fab time and we had pockets of relaxing in the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi! Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast was great and all staff were friendly and helpful. Gutted we do not live closer but will be back whenever we are in the area next! "Very friendly lady at the counter. We travelled to Newcastle recently for the Great North Run. The lady (I am so sorry for not remembering her name) had plenty of suggestions about how to get to the venue. She even let us keep the car parked after our check out. The location is very good as well. Buses and Metro available within a short walking distance. Great value for money!"

"The royal station hotel was simply stunning, in the heart of old Newcastle- so much character, the room was perfect, all of the staff was pleasant, and the restaurant food was great!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Gosforth Park Hotel. It was unplanned, as we had to reschedule due to issues with another location. But we able book a room easily with Gosforth. The staff were wonderful and accommodating during our 4 day stay. Prices are wonderful, the rooms are large and spacious, the gym and poor are fantastic. Could not recommend more. "

"The dust bunnies in the room were over the top, it was insane how much dust was piled up on top of tall furniture and along the walls where the carpet meets. Had to ask for a portable heater as the radiator was not working. The mattresses should have been replaced a LONG time ago, every time my son shifted slightly another spring flew up and jabbed me in the ribs. The bathroom/shower was really nice but the ventilation not great, every thing was soaking wet in there after showering, even in...

"Surprisingly quiet despite being off the A1 the front of the property is a corridor to the rooms which offers sound protection from the A1 . The rooms overlooked a nice field with a view of the sea. The staff were friendly and a decent restaurant on site ."
