"Staff were really lovely and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel was perfectly situated in the centre of Hexham. The only issues were the very few parking spaces available, and the fact we could only park for up to 2hrs with a permit during the day, if there wasn’t any space in the tiny car park. But we loved the hotel itself and would recommend. "

"Wonderful place!
Wow what an absolute gem.
Accommodation in the Police house cottage was absolutely first class, pristine and so comfortable.
Evening dinner in the Hotel restaurant was first class, effortless , super friendly, and the food was simply out of this world.
This is somewhere we will recommend to friends and family and we will most certainly be back in a heart beat.
A huge thumbs up."

"Great hotel and very friendly staff. Delicious salmon for dinner and breakfast was great.
The room was very comfortable and big.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which in my case was good, because that is what we were looking for."

"Fantastic breakfast, ( try the porridge) the host was a hoot rooms were spotless beautiful building, only 1 gripe needs aids to get in and out of bath/shower, as I suffer from back problems.overall I give it 10/10.fantastic.
