"Our stay at the links was more than expected, lovely clean, warm room, excellent bathroom facilities, very friendly reception staff, excellent location for local ammienties and exploring the local area, a great little cafe next door where you can get a tasty breakfast served by friendly staff.i would fully recommend a stay at the links,we will certainly be returning "

"On arrival room felt cold was told they would increase the heat, no difference, half radiator was cold so suggested it needed bleeding. We had to sit woth coats on. They couldnt locate key and was advised they would look for this and deal with it. No update provided. On checkout nobody about to speak to. Radiator still cold room cold.
Dined in restaurant. I chose venison casserole however was then told they didnt have the vegetables as advertised and it would come with peas.

"Great hotel and very friendly staff. Delicious salmon for dinner and breakfast was great.
The room was very comfortable and big.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which in my case was good, because that is what we were looking for."

"Lovely old hotel with public bar. Breakfast included whichbis good. Close to the village centre shops and bus transport very close."

"I booked in January for a summer weekend, arrived in July to find hotel closed and had to find another hotel.
I contacted the hotel through expedia and through their website twice in the week running up to my stay. The Guest House did not respond
I arrived to find Hall Bank Guest House locked up and closed.
I had to find emergency accomodation for the night.
I suggest that potential holidaymakers think very carefully before risking booking Hall Bank Guest House"
