"Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised This hotel looked great in the Expedia photos, but upon arrival, it was a completely different story—false advertising at its finest. The property looked nothing like the pictures, and mosquitoes were a major issue throughout our stay. Right away, we encountered problems with the hot water in our room. After multiple calls to the front desk and waiting for maintenance, it took hours to fix, and even then, we only had lukewarm water. The entrance was...

"Beautiful surroundings, tucked away on the Lakeside as the name suggests. Nice quiet and peaceful. A little bit of a walk into the centre (15-20 minutes), but also possible to wave down a tuk tuk once you get to the main road (about 150 SL rupees to the clocktower). The rooms were big and clean. I'm a solo traveller, but was given a room that had two double beds, aircon and a ceiling fan. The shower was hot during the day, more by accident than design. "Hotel cerca de la estación de autobuses y de “ main road”. Ubicación sin ruidos por la noche. Buen desayuno salvo por el café que es de sobre. Habitación amplia, con baño en ella y con a/c En cualquier hotel de Anuradhapura necesitas alquilar tuc tuc para las visitas turísticas. En este también pero es fácil. Personal muy amable. "

"On average good place. However it needs some renovation in skme areas including surrounding, landscapes, etc. Outside bathrooms wasn't a fit for us as I had old parents."

"The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price."

"Great stay! Stayed 1 night. Very personalized service. The manager greets and checks in with each guest several times throughout the start as needed. Sri Lankan breakfast was great! Pool very nice. Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!"

"Pas de chambre prête à notre arrivée, très sale, sans eau chaude, sans toilette et sans clim le 1er jour, le 2ème jour changement de chambre mais toujours pas d'eau chaude, cafard dans la chambre, chambre hyper humide avec une odeur hyper désagréable. Lavabo qui fuit, abattement de wc cassé, peinture piquée d'humidité. J'ai des photos qui prouvent mes dires. "
