"We had an early morning flight so decided to stay here rather than rushing and worrying in the morning. The hosts Lillian and her husband were such lovely people and extremely helpful. We ate out locally and theres a well stocked supermarket just round the corner. Lilian organised Mr Chino the local celebrity taxi driver to take us to the airport fist thing and everything was well.organised and we didn't want for anything. "Great property, right on the ocean but no beach access unless ya want to climb some rocks down. Awesome views, restaurants close by. Wifi worked for the phones but couldnt get any tv to work with, had to tether my cell to the roku, otherwise I would def go back, rooms are very big and the decoration is great. Full kitchen too. "

"We spent four nights in the amazing tree house overlooking the Belize River. The beautiful swinging Howler Monkeys were right outside the house only feet away. They can be noisy neighbors but the are so worth it! The hosts are amazing and do everything possible to make this a jungle home away from home. Their pool is fantastic. Relaxing to take a dip in the pool since it’s crocodile free, unlike the river in the other side of the house. Truly made memories that will last a lifetime. "

"The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay."

"Had a wonderful experience at the Gecko Bungalow. Michelle and Scott are amazing hosts, and to be honest, the property is even better than the pictures. You will love the pool and outdoor area which has lots of comfortable seating and an overall awesome vibe. The hosts recommend an excellent driver, the location was perfect for tours/excursions, and the food options were plentiful. You will not be disappointed :)"

"I really enjoyed my stay at this property! The house is new, clean, and beautifully designed in a modern style. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, and the dining area is perfect for meals or relaxing with friends or family. There are two cozy bedrooms and even a small yard, which was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"

"My family of six had LOTS of room to spread out. We enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to locations we were visiting in the city. We appreciated the grocery and quick meal options nearby, within a short walking distance. On check-in the cleaning was still in progress so maybe not everything was complete. The floors were swept but not mopped, they were fairly dirty. The table needed to be wiped. Some of the dishes were not fully cleaned from previous use. With that said, we enjoyed it very much...
