"A really lovely hotel located in La Fortuna and within easy walking distance to the central square and surrounding bars and restaurants. Parking outside was useful as we had a car to access all the nearby attractions. Room itself was clean, modern and comfortable and there are shared kitchen facilities available too. Great communication. Would recommend this hotel."

"The property looks just like it's pictured. It's an amazing view. It's nice to have access to the hotel below, but it's not really walkable. It is if you want a cardio workout, the steep climb is tough even when you're in shape. I did it once and it was a hard climb/walk. So much to do in the area and even though we were there in the rainy season we were prepared and didn't let the rain stop us. "

"The two matching villas were perfect for our family of 12. The gated community is secluded but still close enough to the activities La Fortuna has to of. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa Marcella. The location is so convenient and the home is absolutely beautiful! The only challenge we had was when it came time to cook dinner. The villa didn’t have any baking sheets or foil, and was limited in number of plates, silverware and paper towels. Overall would highly recommend! "

"If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). "Nice property. Very well situated and quiet. Was pretty clean. Space to park car if you rent one. A toaster would have been a great option to have! Host was very responsive. Would stay again at this property"

"My wife and I stayed here with my parents and my brother and the space was perfect for us. The pool and hot tub were great and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The road up the hill to the property can seem a little intimidating at first but it's really not bad at all. The location is nice and secluded and close enough to La Fortuna without being too far. "I stayed with my family and had such an amazing stay. The tour included was so nice and learned a lot. Saw cool frogs and other animals. The house was clean, the host are so helpful with anything we needed. Will come back if I do come to La fortuna "

"We loved loved loved Villa Trentino!! Waking up to Toucans and Scarlet Macaws was an absolute treat. The location was very convenient and easily walkable to restaurants, grocery, and the main street of La Fortuna. Inside the guest house was clean and full of all the expected amenities. We definitely hope to have the chance to return in the future!"

"Cabin was beautiful and bigger than expected. The property is breathtaking. We saw plenty of wildlife and enjoyed walks in the yard. The patio/deck is large and perfect for morning coffee. We found the beds comfortable, and the kitchen well appointed. I didn’t have any issues with the electric stove (as clear directions were sent). We didn’t feel cramped at all one adult (another still wouldn’t feel cramped), and two teen boys. "
