"The AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. "

The food was above and beyond what I expected with 4 courses for dinner, 3 at lunch , and a very full breakfast. They list breakfast as continental but it's much more than that. "This place is amazing. It was the first place we stayed in in Sri Lanka and we were really pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick, the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the air-conditioning worked very well, the pool was lovely with a gorgeous view, the bathroom was well equipped, and the kottu roti that we had for dinner was delicious. The hotel is just outside of Anuradhapura but it’s only a maximum 10 minute tuk tuk ride to the sacred sites (200 LKR max). You can...
