"It's pretty basic, hot and sticky with plenty of flying, buzzing, screeching creatures, but you're in the rainforest so what do you expect? The main lodge meeting area is open plan, very spacious with plenty of place to chill, except you can't because it's flipping hot! Good value cold drinks though and the food is reasonable considering you're in a lodge in the Amazon. "My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. When you stay here, you help them with their mission to protect the Amazon rainforest. Alejandro was an amazing guide and has a great eye for spotting wildlife. Definitely...

"Carlos was amazing picking us up at the airport. The accommodations were pretty marginal and the disco next door was a huge bummer. LOUD music until 2 AM granted it was a Friday night and Peruvian Independence Day. We had a very tasty breakfast made for us when we woke up. In the morning Carlos' wife was incredible. She helped us sort out our rainforest lodge booking."

"The immersion experience was great. Be prepared though to feel hot and full of bug spray much of the time. Wear hiking pants. Not Lulu leggings (too hot). The guides are great and you can do as much or as little as you want. We saw a lot of animals. "

"The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...
