"Prime location to experience Michigan in prime time. Personally I love this area year-round, but Summertime in Michigan, in this neck of the woods is beyond precious. This property was clean and quiet and most importantly, properly priced. The loft is air conditioned with plenty of natural light and is adequately appointed. The owners were on site and available, promptly answering inquiries. I would absolutely stay here again. It is located in the very heart of one of the most beautiful places...

"We loved staying in the 1947 Red Laker. Definitely nostalgic. We love the Little Platte area. Canoeing at Riverside, bicycling in Grand Arbor, swimming at watching sunsets at Lake Michigan. We appreciated having the grill for our dinners. Thank you for the perfect weather."

"Have always stayed at the Brown Bear but the 1st stay in Kodiak was very nice and comfortable. The dishwasher wasn’t working but that was ok we did the dishes and left them out to dry when we left. Very comfortable bed and furnishings. I missed the screened in porch but it only rained for a few days. Can’t wait to come back! Thank You!John Meister "

"What a lovely cabin for our visit to Sleeping Bear! Everything we had read online about the cabin is correct-- clean, updated and perfectly located. This may well be one of the most well appointed units we have ever rented. The host is friendly, helpful and quick to respond to questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My favorite part of Cozy Cottage is all of the windows. Even inside, you are surrounded by woods. We hope to return!"

"1950s-60s style cottage — a cottage, not a house. Perfect feeing. Excellent location right on the lake. Clean and comfortable — except for the sofa. Could use a more comfortable sofa, but sometimes sofa beds can be like that."

"Beautiful location, stunning views. Had everything we needed. We were a group of friends that came to do the 70.3 Ironman. Close to Frankfort for our race. Ryan was great at communicating.We loved the sunsets and sunrise on the lake so pretty. The fire pit was awesome at nighttime we saw lots of stars and a shooting star. The canoes were an added treat to go on the lake.Overall our stay was fantastic would definitely recommend."

"This is your typical Michigan cabin. It was clean, had everything you needed for cooking and relaxing. It is very quiet with woods everywhere. Great firepit. Very relaxing. It is close to towns, food and beaches. The fall colors were beautiful. We would book this again for great weekend getaway. If you are looking to be on the river with a dock, you have to walk a little distance. This is not on the river"

"This was a break in a beautiful place with a family member. The property is lovely, the house is great, and so much to discover in the area small towns. I’m too old to do the dune climb by my standards, but the hiking trails (one almost out our door kept us enjoying ourselves. Great people we rented from and can’t say enough good things. "
