"This was our second holiday at this cosy, homely cottage. Mairi is so thoughtful - everything was provided, and there was also a lovely welcome pack on our arrival. "This was the first time that the place we'd booked turned out to be even more beautiful and spacious than it appeared in the photos! "Amazing cosy compact accommodation - immaculately clean and very helpful hosts - David was particularly helpful with information and assistance when our ferry was cancelled due to storm Kathleen. "The property was very comfortable and spacious. Everything necessary was available. We couldn't have asked for more and didn't expect what we found at at a very honest price. We cannot fault John for his cooperation and his management of the property. The information available was comprehensive and up to date. "The property was exactly as it looked in the pictures, it was airy, clean and spacious with lots of room for the whole group to get together but plenty of quieter space for some 'me time'. We already know the island and have lots of family there and Jan and Callum offered to come and extend our table if they were coming over, asked where we needed safety gates and provided top class toddler safe equipment. "Where do I start? I guess first, the location, at the very north of Skye. Peaceful, serene, evenings with nary a sound but the sheep bleating in the distance. Second, the lovely Lorraine, who left us a hand written note on our arrival and baked us shortbread cookies to start our full day on Skye (during which my daughter became engaged at Neist Point). Third, the lovely remodeled Croft house, perfectly appointed and perfect for our every need. A truly exceptional experience for us in every way....

"We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "

"We loved staying at Hughes Hideaway. Our favorite part was that there were little lambs/ sheep in the pasture next to the house for part of our stay. It also had really nice Mountain View’s as well as a little peekaboo sea view. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. It was away from the busyness, it was just a really charming spot to stay. We would definitely come back again."
