"We loved our stay at Kellie’s farm, the property is big and has a big pond or little lake at the back, the scenery looks like you’re somewhere in the wild side of Montana and feels like a grizzly bear can come out of the trees at any moment! Haha but it’s very safe, nothing to worry about. The farm has chickens, pigs, a calf, dogs, etc. if you love animals you will love this place for sure! We would definitely come back and we 100% recommend this place."

"Glad to see that this spacious old cottage was more restored than remodeled. All the conveniences of today's living but sunrise view over the little is to die for. The southbound train across the lake tooting his whistle at 6:36am was a classic alarm to get the day in gear. Nice 3 nite stay for us even though our schedule prevented us from enjoying what surely would be a relaxing cup of coffee on the front-porch as the sun rose over the water "

"We’ve stayed in Avon Park 3 times. All of our stays were good, but this one was the best. The owner is very attentive and responds quickly to messages and texts!"

"In and out of place. No time to enjoy stay. Incorrect WiFi password. Deck a little dirty. Place was not clean when checked in at 5pm. Left place to come back at 9pm after clean."

"Main bad issues were poor furniture, not comfortable, bad power switch on living room fan, beds are ok, amenities are great, all fans are noisy, exhaust fan did not work in main bathroom. Good hotel type amenities and coffee!"

"There is plenty of room for the 5 of us to settle in. The kitchen had service for 4, but we did have a formal dinner. Showers took a moment to figure out, but had good pressure. The porch lights made it easy to find the house when coming back for the evening. Disappointed that the washer was not working,since we had packed with plans to do laundry. One of the smoke detectors in the front room chirped a bit. Overall, we would book again. "

"Cottage was exceptionally clean and tidy and comfortably furnished. Being directly on the lake provided great views and it even has a beach. The Host was most gracious and responsive to our comfort and needs. Highly recommend staying here, it's perfect for friends and family."
