"This was an amazing and unique experience in the middle of the desert. The camel ride and the SUV tour was worth it . I had tea in the nomads tent ,visited the old mines , listening to a life Gnawa show and lunch at Nora restaurant than camel ride back to camp .The host Zaid was the best host ever , he picked us upon arrival at 2am and drove us to camp than serve us a full dinner course especially made for us .I want to thank Zaid ,Mohamed and Fatima for making our visit so special . "

"I mainly liked it cause it felt closer to Touareg culture, than a regular camping with all the facilities as if you were in a regular hotel. It’s a bit further away than other camping sites, which makes it more exciting. Mustafa, the host is amazing. Funny and ready to help. He’s also a great guide. Take the tour with him: he explains you many things about Amazir and Touareg people. I would come back every year, if I could. "

"I can't say enough good things about this camp. We were updated to a fabulous suite tent that was warm and the bed was more comfortable than the one at my house. Dinners and breakfasts were amazing. "It was Dec so a little too cold in the desert for a comfortable sleep. They enough provided enough quilts but when the bed is cold, it is cold :-) They had warm running water, bathrooms were clean and well equipped. They do not take credit cards so be prepared to carry cash. The owner met us in the city afterwards, we had to stand in line, withdraw money multiple times from the ATM to give him cash. He was very friendly but the process took away time from our schedule. "

"Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff.
