"In the midst of renovations in the main entrance but the room was modern and super clean. Would stay there again!"

"The property was well maintained for what it was. There aren't really any amenities at this property though. The staff was friendly when we saw them. They do have one washer and dryer for patron use that was relatively new, so we did use those. The breakfast room was clean and welcoming as well but the hours started late so we were already on our way before they opened. The room was clean and bright, and we enjoyed having a ground level room so we could come and go out our sliding glass door...

"Unfortunately, not a stay at all. The moment my friend walked in to the room, it was awful. Bugs in the bathroom, dirty tiles and flooring, generally dirty all over. The photos were not indicative of the quality of room you receive when staying, but of one of the redone rooms. We didn’t actually stay there. Checked in and out the same night. Not worth it. Booked elsewhere for more money, but worth peace of mind to stay in a clean space."

"Hay que hacer el check-in en un sitio y después ir a otro donde están las habitaciones, había telarañas en la lámpara de noche, se escuchan las conversaciones y los movimientos de los otros huéspedes, la cama y almohadas fueron sumamente incómodas. Había dos sillas en la habitación que estaban viejas y sucias."

"An older hotel but the rooms have been redone. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Had a very nice lake view . The room had been updated but they did miss a few things ( some baseboard, some paint. ) The room needed a good dusting as there were cobwebs . The deck had a patio chair and cushion but it was moldy from being left outside. Room had a fridge, microwave and French press coffee maker which was nice. The outside has not been kept up unfortunately as it could be very nice"

"This was such a great place to stay. Nicole and Nacho have done a wonderful job with this vintage building. Everything you need is available to you. The room was so wonderful and paid a lot of attention to detail and even though you’re in a small space, it doesn’t feel small. Also the breakfast bar is full of nice items and homemade goodies- nice way to start your day. Keurig and kettle in your room with assortment of coffees and teas. Honestly just pure joy in this room. Also the whole building...

"We stayed one night at Howey Bay. The room was very comfortable with a full kitchen, nice bedding and extremely clean. Would definitely stay again!"

"I enjoyed my time at the cozy cabin. It definitely is as described. I enjoyed walking the property checking out the chickens and garden. Beautiful huge tomato plants. Great view of the lake. So close to town made it easy for me to get what I needed. Great communication with the host made everything a wonderful experience.I do plan to visit again in the future and I do recommend you check it out!"
