"Completely adequate property for a short stay. Generally as described. Welcoming, quiet, safe and comfortable enough. It could benefit from some attention to some details - most pressing for me would be a new mattress in the back bedroom. We felt springs and were not really comfortable! The boiler is also in this bedroom which creates noise, but not a major problem. Host company was good at communicating and check-in/out was a breeze. "We loved the cottage however it wasn’t cleaned to a very good standard. We found someone else’s underwear in the drawers, opened food in the freezer and dirt in the bath on the first day. Cottage was well situated in the village and easily accessible. Local pubs were closed on Monday and Tuesday so not ideal if you want to eat out on these nights. We walked to one pub on the Wednesday to have dinner however we were not greeted in a friendly manner which put us off. We had one drink and left....

"Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property while visiting family nearby. It had everything you need and nice decor. Owner quick to respond and to small problem. Would stay again and recommend. The only small negative were that directions weren't clear for our late arrival."
