"I booked the motel on line. When we arrived there, I thought oh boy! The outside of the property, honestly, is a little scary. The rooms, though, have been completely remodeled and were quite nice! The staff was great!"

"The Sands Inn is hidden gem! It was cleaner than any hotel I have stayed in. The beds were comfortable & the staff was truly interested in how your stay was! I would totally recommend this motel for a stay!"

"It is basically a room for anyone going in late at night and getting out early in the morning. The room is small, just enough for a queen sized bed. I now understand why it is called MICROtell… but it served our purpose as we are traveling across country. Also I noticed a number of construction workers checking in for the night when we got there at about 7:00."

"Location was very good and easy to get to. This is an older hotel that had closed over COVID and has recently opened back up. It does need some updates done and I believe they are working on that. Reasonable rates, and they have two bars that are open in the evenings, and they also have a restaurant. The restaurant is where you get breakfast and it is cooked to order for their guests. Breakfast was great could not ask for anything better. We would stay again ."

"Great place to stay. Old-fashioned mom pop motel with a very dated parking lot, however, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff was great. The room was comfortable. The beds were good, and it was clean. Great value in Rawlings."

"Very clean! Room and shower were great! Needed to do laundry and laundry room was clean. Staff was very helpful with breaking bills for quarters needed for laundry. Breakfast was good!"

"Friendly staff, comfortable bed and clean room. There were a few downsides but not deal breakers. One of the washers was broken in the laundry room, the ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. Again not a deal breaker just a small inconvenience. We would definitely stay again if passing through."
