"It needs a remodel. Room’s smell like cigarette smoke. No mattress pad on the bed poor lighting in the bathroom. Curtains were turned inside out to hide whatever was suppose to be right side of the curtain to be shown into the room. Flooring was worn out. Literally."

"Property was as listed and very comfortable/cozy, everything was cooled down inside before we arrived and lights on!Beds were so comfortable and very quiet, really no neighbors-the building is historic and brick -no sounds from outside at all.I bit of a struggle to find this on our trip - roads were blocked under construction.We focused on the pictures and the old structures that stick up higher in town & that led us to it, in a round about way.Beautiful walking /biking path (Doodlebug trail)...

"The house was clean. But shortly after we arrived after a 10 hour drive we were hoping for some tranquility they started doing yard work near the house and mowing the lawn. The next day 4 strange guys started doing work in the garage around our vehicles and the house for a few hours. This was our second and last stay at this property. The host was rude in his response when I reached out prior to the review."
