"A very nice and comfortable place to stay. We got upgraded to the suite. It's conveniently located to gas stations, grocery store Starbucks and fast food. Also the clerk named Preston was a true asset. He was very upbeat, pleasant and knowledgeable able. We enjoyed stopping there."

"The place was clean and we had a comfortable stay. It's convenient to the local town and close enough between Whiskytown and Mt. Shasta. Check in and check out was easy. It was simple and you didn't have to walk a great distant for ice or to your car."

"Ok, room was very nice and I liked that it was close to the river..... But I do not like the No Lobby trend. I've been to 2 motels that did things this way and the Both, including this one, had issues with room assignment. With the first one, another guest had tge same room number and code and tried to enter my room. With this one I was the guest trying to enter another's room. Im sure No lobby saves on money but youve really got to do better with room assignment"

"I liked the fact that it was surrounded by motels. It felt safe. Although the place is extremely outdated, its clean and quiet. I didnt like the swamp cooler that would not run with a constant flow. It shut off. Just about when one falls asleep, it comes back on very loud. I didnt sleep all three nights. Also, the lady that said shes been there 23 yrs and owns the place has not bothered yo learn english nor understand it. And she acted very moody and entitled when i told her she hung up on me 3x...

"I can't believe there is no elevator in this 2 story hotel!! Front Desk Attendant helped lug my suitcase up the 21 step staircase. This was very challenging for a tired middle aged Mom traveling with a child. Room bathtub AND sink were clogged - not draining. Breakfast was scant. Pool was very cold. Hot tub was a welcome amenity for weary travelers, but you can see black mold growing on the walls above the floor edging from the hot tub area ."
