"This was our third consecutive Memorial Day weekend at Shady Rest, and once again, it was absolutely wonderful. Tonna and her husband have created such a beautiful and peaceful property. They’re always so kind and respectful of our privacy, yet incredibly accommodating whenever we need anything.While we usually come for the nearby hot springs, this time we found ourselves spending most of our time right at Shady Rest. "It was hard to fall asleep became of the resistance of the home speaking load, or the noise just echos. And there's vary bad wifi. And 2 trains tracks stopping you from leaving, waiting at least an hour for the train."

"I was a little apprehensive about our stay originally because of it's connection to a small motel, however it was a wonderful surprise inside! The home is very clean, comfortable beds, and a quiet soace. The jetted tub was perfect!"
